I am constantly contacted by text from WinRed. They make statements supposedly from President Trump, asking for donations. I’ve reported them as junk and now I suspect they are no better than ActBlue!!! 😡

I gave a donation to WinRed, they wanted it to be an ongoing monthly donation. I declined on the form and said it was a one time donation. So then I found out they were charging me monthly anyway. I tied to get them to correct but they do not respond and the listed customer service website and phone numbers didn’t work.
I contacted my bank, the cancelled my card and reissued a new one, eventually the excess donation’s were clawed back.
If WinRed is this bad you know ActBlue has gotta be worse, much worse.
Be very careful how you donate most of them are scams.
