Damn. This one really made me feel bad for the guy. I understand it was illegal but still. He seems to be a normal person just with bad luck/bad choices in life. I really hope and the doggies and this guy get the help they need.
lol imagine posting a video trying to talk about criminals when you make your channel look like a fool
That guy's story is legit. The female Officer is an instigator – and I have NEVER taken the side of anyone other than the Police. She overreacted and made up something that DID NOT HAPPEN.
Body cams suck sometimes, I can't tell if he's actually grabbing the knife or not.
This one is sickening. I hope this man is in a good place and the officers see the body cams and learn.
Without ego more training needed.
First, let me say I’m on the camper’s side. The cops way overreacted to this situation. BUT if he would’ve declared his intent as well as informing the officer of the presence of the machete, that would have helped his case greatly. Just kinda reaching in the general direction of a weapon is never a good idea in front of the cops. I don’t believe the police should have done him like this at all, and I believe a good lawyer could easily get this thrown out, but that one mistake may have screwed him
Poorly handled
Midwest safety failed hard in presenting this situation as if it were this man's fault. Shame on this channel for promoting police brutality and inhumane treatment of a person and a dog like this. You cowards. This man is still a person, even though he has less. Unsubscribed.

These police officers are sooo stupid 😂😂 its funny
Bro this is stupid. Officer’s just don’t believe him. This is racism.
10/10 video, but SUPER CRINGE how the female officer fabricates him reaching for the machete and the dog biting her "everywhere". Drama queen. Both cops in this one need to be re-trained. I hope this blows up and someone tech savvy makes a go fund me for this man who is obviously not a criminal. Those dogs are the only thing that matter to him, and they all deserve better than these officers gave them.
cops were abit aggressive here and the pig punching him on the ground seems more stable than most people and hes homeless…
So, you're telling me, an innocent and INJURED CHEF (keyword, chef) had his service dog and puppies taken away after he said they'd move? How stupid. That man did nothing wrong, and they were being rough with him, he has a fractured spinal cord! And anything like that HURTS, speaking from experience. With the dog, the officers, the yelling, it must have been an adrenaline rush, which is why he wasn't "cooperating".
Cops instigated this one. FOR SURE
This is your tax dollars at work, taking down the big, bad homeless man with puppies? Our country literally spends trillions on war but they won't help the homeless. Simply living in a tent due to being homeless is criminalized. Things like this must make God sometimes regret creating mankind because this isn't right.
he grabbed his sock and the cop overreacted because he was close to the machete he even put the sock on too. that was a over reach the cop walked into his space for 0 reason he said he would pack his stuff up and leave he has food and water down for the puppies too but they wouldn’t accept his awnser they don’t look like they’re being neglected the mum dog is built very good size definitely an over reaction now he doesn’t have his dog or the puppies sad world we live in
Absolute trash ass job done by the jobs
This was insanely aggressive. They kept escalating at every moment. There are better ways to handle these situations
One of the few videos on this channel that I’ve seen where the suspect was definitely wronged. That female deputy should not be in law enforcement if she’s so scared of a weapon being present that she has to jump on someone the moment she notices it. That man never grabbed the machete and he doesn’t seem at all like he was being aggressive towards her. I’ve had multiple conversations with deputies while openly armed with a handgun and they have never even acted nervous. I hope he sues that department and gets his dogs back.
He didn't try to do anything with the machete and he said he was gonna move the camp. Leave the poor guy alone.
Nah the cops were in the wrong on this one. Could have handled it way more patiently
Everyone is saying how the homeless guy didn't deserve this but he had a giant machete and did not listen when the cop gave him an order. As with every police encounter if you don't comply, you get arrested. Doesn't matter if you're a "put together" homeless person or not? Also clearly they have dealt with this guy before being places he shouldn't be. Homelessness is sad, but not an excuse for non-compliance.
I’m reading where the cops were out of line. But they weren’t. It’s illegal to stay there. I can tell he loves his dogs, but it’s not fair to them and it wouldn’t be fair to children. Give him his dog back after the puppies are ween. Get it fixed for him.
He wasn't even reaching for the machete
Damn that was escalated quickly by law enforcement. Guy even said he was willing to move, he clearly didn’t know it was illegal to camp there due to county ordinances. Good job to the dog protecting her human.
I’m going to count to 3 😮 ??? Is he a child
A string of sausages would’ve been more useful than a taser.
THOROUGHLY DISCUSTED WITH LE ! This is why law enforcement needs to be phased out , retrained In mental health, addiction and behavioral services etc. YOU ARE PUBLIC SERVANTS! YOU CREATE ADVERSARIAL / VIOLENT terrifying situations then trump up charges once a Civilian defends himself and his puppies… Time you all train in social work , get that man into services, relocate, assess his needs , "protect "All HE HAD LEFT IN THE WORLD IN THAT DAMN BLUE TENT and" serve " up some GOD DAMN HUMANITY!!
These cops are shit
These 2 idiots should not be cops !!!!
The female Officer said she had been there before, but I would have secured the dogs FIRST!
The dogs should have been secured first! This is so painful to watch!
These cops did a horrible job!!!!!!!
Nah this ain't it. Aside from being somewhere he shouldn't be what harm was he really doing?
Had to stop watching 2 minutes in when they started tasing this man with a spinal cord injury for no reason. Disgusting. Leave this man and his dogs alone.
A-hole cops created this situation. The guy was calm. The dogs and puppies were feed. They harassed and beat that man up just to take his dogs. Those cops lied. He didn't reach for the machete. This video made me sick.
Crazy That People think the guy who reached towards a machete and kept reaching towards it did nothing wrong
Lady cops always over reacting guy should have just moved didn't reach for anything
I don't think this was properly handled. The guy takes care of the dogs, they're fed, they have water, his situation is no reason to take the dogs away. Machete complicated things but there was no need to get that aggressive with him.
I am pro police first and foremost. But this was handled wrong by the officer's. This guy didn't do anything wrong other than camp on county property. He was compliant and calm and didn't reach for the machete. The dog was just protecting its owner and it wasn't this guys fault. He had a huge bag of dog food in the tent and the dog looked healthy and happy until the lady started getting aggressive. Once again i respect the police and 99% of the time they are correct. But they failed on this one. They guy was articulate and coherent. This escalated quickly because of the female officer's response. He even immediately said he would pack up and move. As a dog owner i can see that he cared about the dog and the puppies and it was like they were taking his kids away from him. So sad. I hope this guy got the dogs back.
I usually side with cops on removals but this was way out of hand. They could have checked back in tomorrow about if he moved or not. It would have been easier and safer for everyone that way especially since he said he understood and would move. I think he shouldn’t have a litter of puppies but that’s a separate issue.
The dog’s name is Fussy! 🐶
I couldn’t imagine a worse place to set up a tent than literally just in the highway
ACAB
Deputy has self inflicted injuries.
Everyday sadism at work.
This was a really bad example of policing. Female officer panicked and it snowballed from there.
Did the puppies look like him?
