  1. I am 50, when I was 20, in summer, when I went on a trip, I had to stop every 200 miles to clean my windshield which was full of dead insects. Service stations had buckets with wipers to clean windshields. These days, I can drive 800 miles and my windscreen might have 5 or 6 dead insects, service stations no longer have the wipers, nobody needs them anymore.

  2. God willing human efforts will improve as so much as is possible, where and when possible, any bit, every bit, anywhere, several places on earth.

  3. Capitalism needs to alter its objective of chronic growth for the sake of it. Grow or die is B.S.. Capitalism can be geared toward planetary survival. The alternative is fascism, dictatorship, and further destruction of the biosphere that support us all.

  4. White people have completely destroyed the earth all so a few people can be “free and rich” while the rest of us can’t even enjoy the free things like wild life. Disgusting race

  5. You abject liars. The climate hasn't killed anything. This is all due to overfishing, poaching, and habitat destruction from human encroachment. In the 1800's there were 1 billion people on the planet. Ever since, humanity has been bulldozing and paving meadows, deserts, jungles and forests across the globe due to extraordinary and unprecedented rising human population levels.

Humans slaughtered 75 million sharks last year. No shark has died from climate change. In the 1800's 100,000 tigers roamed the wild. Today there are around 3,400. Not a single tiger has died from climate change. You climate zealots have zero credibility or integrity pushing your climate hyperbole. If you can't name the problem, you'll never solve the problem.

  6. Everytime i hear them talk about WWF i start laughing. It reminds me of the days when WWE was known as WWF until WWF sued them over copyright nonsense.

But yeah. Amazon is screwed with idiots like that "whats his name" in power. That insignificant parasite that doesnt give a damn about the forest whose name i cant even remember.

  7. When humans haven't explored the earth completely and understood as well, how can we provide solutions with limited thought? Once everyone humans lived in forest(0% urban population). Now it is 54%, is expanding to 100% is development & progress? Even if we become it is unstoppable as human greed is initiated with comfort and luxury beyond human needs focussing on wants.

  8. Once humans go extinct—when wet bulb temps destroy us and our crops in just a few decades—whatever species that survive will grow and thrive. After ten or fifteen million years, it will be as though we hateful apes never existed. This is the only thing that can make me smile these days.

  9. What about Dugong? It needs protection more than any other animal! These are ancient trees and forests destroyed for making money, eco consciousness should come naturally within each and every individual that helps in preserving habitats and allow various creatures ,even something as small as a wood lice to thrive .

  10. All the disasters happening is wake up call from the environment which is telling or warning if you go like this world will end soon so be careful what you make ,purpose and cause and effect which humans doesn’t care about future gen.

  11. Humans are busy in developing there day to day life for that little they think what impact on environment instead they making products or developing place looks good to others not healthy for him or to there environment ,
Leaders are busy spending on nuclear and bio weapons to fight each other or to own others territory to enjoy the life .

  12. Was in Hay Point ,Queensland,Australia, caught a glimpse of these olive Ridley Turtles 🐢 swimming in the Great Barrier Reef, and it’s a port, and it’s a difficult place for the conservation of these turtles 🐢.Plenty of them around swimming in the Great Barrier Reef ,it was a privilege to have spotted a solitary turtle 🐢 swimming ,more has to be done to protect these animals.

  13. >> "…it would be the equivalent of wiping out the entire population of China, Europe, Oceana and the Americas combined"

Funny, that's precisely what we need to lose in order to solve the climate problem and the extinction problem. 1 billion humans globally is all this planet can support, that's it.

  14. While I was growing up,was privileged to see plenty of sparrows in my house, now I don’t see much,I stay in a city,do my best in providing some habitat to small birds in my very own little garden .Rows and columns of nest is built by these very tiny birds in my bamboo pot, seen them lay eggs, nourish it’s young one and let them free, and in the evening all these birds huddle and fall asleep in my bamboo plant nest that they have built. It’s a privilege to see these tiny birds and to observe them this close. Every human has a responsibility towards protecting habitats of all the animals ,as we share this planet together.

  15. compared with our ancestors, we stand to go down as the lamest of the lame. at the organismic level, our behaviour is like that of a termite. trees do not simply provide vital CO2, they also provide habitats and symbiotic relationships with other plants. right about now, we couldn't be more stupid if we'd taken classes in ignorance.

  16. My heart bleeds for our beautiful home and it's beautiful creatures! Such a rare planet being treated so devastatingly by it's caregiver's is the human races greatest travesty! WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!
WAKE TF UP!!! WE ARE KILLING OUR ONLY HOME!!!

  17. Once upon a Time, I supported the WWF. Until I read a report about 80% Plus of financial donations goes to administrative costs. Once upon a Time I thought it was a great organization. But like so many, people are living high on the hog courtesy of financial donations. How much does the CEO earn yearly?

  18. As dramatic as it is, only the populations monitored declined that much, but the total number of animals did not decline as much. This was explained in an article in the NYT.
