  1. a year later and Palworld is still keeping the competition so Nintendo had relied on lawsuits to bring it down
not to mention Pokemon's latest game in my opinion, had tried to grab some concepts of Palworld in their combat :p

  2. playing pokemon costs ~270 euro….
    70 euro for pokemon.
and 210 euro for a Nintendo switch lite…
if you want to play pokemon, zelda or mario…
at best you can get pokemon with a 10% discount.
    same for zelda…
    there just never on sale….

i find Nintendo just not worth it for those 3 exclusives.
perhaps they should make a nintendo platform like steam for pc.
but then people that own a pc,wont buy there console.

  3. I like Palworld for what it is, but I was hoping it would be more like Pokemon. It feels like throwing the balls at the monsters is where the similarity ends, everything else is completely different. I don't think Gamefreak will feel threatened enough by Palworld to step up their game.

  4. I think palworld exploded in poopularity because it's the open world pokemon game that we wanted for 20 years. That Nintendo was to snooty to acknowledge the fanbase was asking for. That their sub par hardware wouldn't be able to run, and their lack of tech skill and server knowledge means they don't and won't have the infrastructure to run.
If they kill palworld with this lawsuit, I hope the devs survive and come back with another banger game. I hope nintendos case is thrown out because retroactive patents in video games is gonna suck. I hope Nintendo takes a massive hit for their continued hubris and I wish creators hadn't all played mario party 81 or whatever number the bs remake of the same thing yet again because nintendo was that came out recently.

  5. Palworld is more action RPG than it is monster taming or survival, yea the monster taming and survival aspects are vital and important parts of the gameplay loop but most monster tamer games are RPGs anyways, you tame monsters, level them up and they learn new moves and sometimes evolve into stronger variants, sounds like a RPG to me, and in this game you actually level up and build yourself as well which is RPG 101, this is just a hybrid monster taming survival action RPG, is just so happens that it's also an open world game as well, but open world isnt a genre, just a design choice
