She’s smart and hot that’s a great combination.
Why have they not mentioned the bloody obvious main aspect of success. Yeah her videos are accessible to lay people and engaging as a consequence, but everybody just clicks on her thumbnail because of her sexy face and body. But her ability gets you to the end of the video.

I love the flow of this conversation and how informative every second was. I’m currently writing a paper and though the topic is not science based, her walking through how she creates an outline for how she will present information helped me. The question she was asking herself through the brainstorming process is something I should will myself when writing papers.

It is so refreshing to find someone who is talented, smart, and beautiful using social media to broadcast intelligent scientific and tech material. She is well-spoken, charming, and driven, which is admirable. Nowadays, the internet is full of beautiful people just dancing sexily or acting up, competing to become internet sensations but offering nothing substantial. I love watching her videos about space, tech, and common everyday human challenges, which she eloquently dives into and takes the time to explain. Job well done!
The real reason I like her channel is that she keeps it very positive. When I watch the old fear mongering channels, I just wana hang up and leave on the next rocket to Mars!
Can you imagine Cleo doing an interview with the likes of Donald Trump and say issues about climate change or the impact of flying from state to state in a passenger jet airliner carrying just one person and a few obligatory bodyguards.
About key visuals.. Thinking of Cleo the one most huge key component of her videos is her voice! Not the visual at all. Of course the visual describes the topic the best, but the voice sells it. Voice of optimism. Another voice excellence is Matt O'Dowd. He represents the voice of science. And you can continue listing examples, how a voice is connected to a type of storytelling.
Cleo has several advantages:
* she is smart and has interests in tech and science, is able to summarize and simplify (she is a teacher at heart)
* she has found a niche that works
* she is pretty and has camera-friendly face
* her voice is decent and mic-friendly (not great, but decent)
* she has great on-camera mannerisms, seems genuinely excited about the thing she talks about
* she is good at interviewing, no weird awkward pauses or moments
* she is not intimidated by any circumstances she finds herself in
* she has garnered pretty good experience at Vox
* she likely has a great team to help her as well
