I couldn’t write off Auguste Rodin. Done it before and needs more races to judge him this season. Can’t write him off.
That said, great to see a much improved 4yo
Auguste Rodin was well beaten, but i thought he ran a decent race against a horse who is on a rapid upward curve. Why not run Auguste Rodin in the Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot?
First two are very good horses, no doubt. White Birch's best trip may well be the 10 furlongs, and for Auguste Rodin a mile and a half may now be needed. I don't buy the excuse he needs good ground, his 2YO G1 win in the Vertem Futurity was achieved in bottomless ground. I think the best horse over this distance won the race.
Rodin is an overhyped rogue .

White birch looks the finished article now . Will be a tough horse to beat in middle distance races this season . Second ran well but not in winners class .
