As a native speaker, English is insanely difficult to non native speakers. That's not some sort of flex, its unnecessarily tough. There are multiple layers of irrational and illogical rules and parameters that really don't make sense at all. It's never a good idea to make snap assumptions about anyone based on their English speaking ability if its not their mother tongue.
