The idea that the universe has a boundary is faulty because it is a pure assumption. The conclusion is easy to conclude. The universe has no boundaries. It is infinite, forever, always and eternal. The universe has always existed. THAT is what infinite MEANS!!! Mainstream scientists will eventually understand that, and it will become common knowledge.
The universe is eternity containing all energy state transformations to satisfy conservation. Case closed.

Something to think about. In one philosophical sense, everything that exists is finite. The universe by definition is everything that exists. If both are true, the universe is finite and has no boundaries. There is no edge of the universe.

"The edge" of the Universe is no real edge, the edge is just a limit to our obeservability, thats how far we can see with our technology….. it doesnt end, its neverending, beyond this "edge" is just more galaxies and universes, to the point where your head will just explode….. and even if those eventually end it will be just a void of empty space & black matter…… for a while…. until you travel so far through it that now even more galaxies, universes pop up…..

Anyone pretending to know the answers to such impossible questions is lying to you. Even the expansion of the universe is not settled. Very little is known for sure.
Technically, the universe is infinite and ever expanding at an accelerated rate. Galaxies are moving further apart except maybe ours and andromedas(they're due to collide in a few billion years)
