I've been PC scrub for a pretty long time. I prefer a mediocre pc to a console because, multiple screens, multiple functions, the ability to do more than one thing at a time. I hate that I can't have a video running while playing my ps5. I should be able to do pip on my vr headset as far as I'm concerned. Everything just gets easier and more comfortable when I'm back on my pc. Ps5 is only really better for when you've got multiple people in the room.

Didnt help for the near whole year when the consoles first came out. Scalpers inflated the hell out of the consoles. No one could get there hands on them

What else should developers do when they run out of ideas? Make nothing at all?
It's the enshittification really. Everything is now subscription based and live service and digital. What makes PC gaming great is that there is no ta need to subscribe separately for the ability to play online with others.
This video really touched me deeply in my heart. I started playing Xbox 360, Ps2 and the Wii when i was 5. Genuinely defined my childhood and the games ive played are unforgettable, same with the consoles. I hope the generation after this has a better resurgence, and I hope that younger people get to experience what I did as a kid.
Maybe Xbox and Sony will fade into history, but Nintendo will still live and thrive off their own console for decades to come.
Nintendo will beat out the competition and become "king of the console wars".
I would like to add that when you started too cut away all the games at the beginning you should have cut out every game that was a sequel. Where are the new original games
In conclusion. It's all Gen-Z's fault. They are. By far. the worst generation ever existed!

PC has spoiled me. I cant play FPS with rollers anymore
I have a PS5, and the main thing I use it for is Fortnite (I also played through Outer Wilds on it; best game ever, btw 😁👍). I just struggle to find any good games on PS5 that I can't already play with a far better experience on PC. Glad I'm not the only one who's felt this!
I definitely think that the whole better playing experience on PC is unfair. Like we constantly beck and yell for games to be released on PC and then stuff like this is said. This is a bit of a reach honestly. We're in the moment and it feels like nothing but really we have gotten quite a bit this gen (sadly the least came from xbox, but PS and Nintendo and PC are doing great)
When talking about consoles and gaming pcs, it should technically just be ps5 and Nintendo as main gaming consoles. Going to pc is mostly for those who can afford it. Consoles is perfect
starting area for games mostly for budget users and easy access. These days pc games are causing games to go fully digital which are loosing user the rights to fully own games.
There used to be a dividing line between the games on console and the games on PC as well. Now that's been erased consoles have kindof lost the big thing that made them a worthwhile purchase.
Even though I care more about gaming now than I did in 2015/16 (the years i got my ps3 and 3DS), I feel like there's not enough differences in what's being produced now vs then to make me care about the 9th gen consoles. Even the games I have for my switch feel less fun than their equivalents on older hardware, or even fangames.

Video should have been made once we’re into the 10th gen. There’s still a lot of ups and downs to go though
The biggest problem is that you can run games at 4k on 9th gen consoles and 720p on 8th gen consoles, they have little reason to push for 9th gen only when they can grab both install bases. Had Halo Infinite launched with a huge success and had Sony had a few more interesting games then 9th gen would've been great

Game choice does suck. Maybe you can speak to the problem of some players ruining the console experience for others by using a console/mouse/keyboard.
I won't play fps games anymore because of it.
