The Warwick WFA1 has been very popular in Australia for good reason, it is well built and reliable allowing for a heap of add-ons.

  1. I have a wfa1 300 black out and it hammers kill shots at 500m no worries using the 110grain vmax, that's the furtherest kill I've had so far. i found my 300 loves the hornady vmax and is a excellent round for hold over shots too.

  2. Would be interested in seeing a review/comparison with the Wedgetail industries MPR308. Very similar look/uses also Australian made just with a pump action and a bit more power from the 308 win.

  3. I came so close to buying one of these, but now i'm glad I didn't. Crap accuracy. Think i'll buy a Merkel Helix instead. Better accuracy, more caliber choice and faster action to use…

  4. Hey Ozzie love ya work mate! Just a quick question. If you didn’t have a cat D license would you prefer to run a 7615 or a WFA1 for dogs? I would purely like your thoughts on function and ergo’s between the two rather than financial. The WFA1 is obviously a lot more of an investment but would be Neat to have an AR type of platform.. well at least as close as most of us would get I guess.a

  5. After seeing those groups, no wonder they didn't give you a gun to review. lol. $3,000+ for what runs like an AR with cycling issues and shoots 3 MOA… Thats a solid no from me.

  6. Hey Ozzie, what are the chances of us getting the Troy Industries Pump AR15 in QLD or NT?
Im after a light fast shooting repeater for controlling feral pigs. I dont like the remington pump or lever actions. I was going to get one of these but not after seeing the accuracy results. I'm starting to err towards a Blazer R8 or Merkel Helix…
It's annoying isn't it. The Govt want us to do our bit to control feral animals but they wont allow us to buy the proper tools to use..

  7. I thought the accuracy was not that bad considering it's a short barrel military style rifle. I remember Chinese SKS and Type 56 Ak type rifles, you would be doing well to get 3" groups out of it…
