    The brachioradialis will be stretched (thus most worked) when it is extended so a preacher curl type workout (one with the elbows raised) will be better. It also works to return the wrist to neutral so it can be worked with the pronators and supinators if you do these with straight elbows.
    Time under tension is a core principle for muscle growth, so spinning a dumbbell won't work them much. Used an uneven dumbbell or a bar that you move slowly and focus on the stretched position. You can prop your arms up with elbows straight to get more brachioradialis as said above, and you can do forced eccentrics to get a little more out of them.
    The extensor workout is fine, but the flexor should be trained in the same way (i.e. loaded throughout the movement). You can also do these workouts with dumbbells (which is preferable for more natural wrist movement) and you could focus the stretched portion by propping them up on a bench which will get more thickness closer to the wrist.
