Devin is one of the most talented singers ever. I've seen him live twice and I'd put both shows ahead of the best of the best. The only better concert I've ever been to was when Animals as Leaders opened for Gojira. You should react to Ih-Ah by Devin Townsend next! Just wanted to also add Devin used to be in the heavy metal band Strapping Young Lad in the 90's which is where he gets that incredible vocal range.

Need to check out Burton C. Bell from Fear Factory for another singer who transitions from incredibly beautiful clean vocals to a disturbing deep growl and powerful screams.
Devin is uniquely able to make those sounds because his skull is bigger on the inside.
