The only person who watched the video from beginning to end with emotion, seriously and without interrupting the video. And that's worth a lot. Special thanks to him for this, because he tasted all of Devin’s genius.
What in the William Faulkner its sayings like that which made me subscribe long ago 😂😂😂😂
Devin strums like hes flicking excess water off his hands casually😮
He was put on a pedestle to mock him.
Your gear is shit.
"I feel like he's just messing with us" … Yes… and he's just like that live. He is a performer that brings an infectious amount of fun with him
Devin is definitely one of the top singers and is a funny dude…
"What the William Faulkner?" Lol love your reaction. You sir just got another subscription!
“What in the William Fogner”made me choke on my hookah
Devin Townsend has done it all. From Heavy almost death Metal with Strapping Young Lad, to singing on the tonight show for Steve Vai. And not to mention he used to be a dead ringer for Pickles The drummer from Dethklock when he had his balding/4 dreadlocks left on his head that he kept for way too long. Immensely talented and proven himself time and again.
People think Devy looks weird here have never seen Strapping Young Lad
Devin can give me goosebumps like no one else, right out of the gate
He is one of the nicest guys in metal. I've met him several times and he's amazing and my hero. 🤘
Saw him last week for the first time and though the same… Voldemort sings and play guitar!
Vocal coaches reacting to Devy perform Kingdom is it's own subgenre at this point
what is a frie
😎😎 remember Goonies
WHY WOULD YOU CUT OFF BEFORE THE LAST MOMENT
When you learn your guitar ability from Steve Vai and your songwriting skills and stagecraft from Ginger Wildheart, you ain’t going to go far wrong.
I love how he builds sound. Listen to the "now Now NOW NOW" at 7:17 build before he comes in.
Aw you missed his smiley face at the end!
He's bloody brilliant
Devin is one of the greatest musicians because he doesn't take himself too seriously. He's having FUN. He's hyperbolizing. He's being sarcastic. AND he writes fuckin' bangers. His voice is one of a kind.
"What the William Fogner…"
That's a new one. I like you, guy.
Sadly he’s not always as great as he can be. He’s a jerk sometimes. Especially In Strapping Young Lad
He's a Canadian wonder! Such a great powerful voice and genuine guy, also his "Bring me home" cover is really great too
Mr Townsend, a true entertainer with 100% control over his voice. His technique is next level 👌🥰✌️
I like him to the Jason Statham of metal 😆
Although Dev doesn't use much soloing in his work he's occasionally showed off here and there. He's phenomenal at that too. Top tier. I don't think he has a condescending view on soloing, but from listening to him talking about it, the time in his life where he was into going crazy on the fretboard occured when much younger and trying to impress girls (he reports that they were not impressed!).
Great video btw. 👍
if the guy who made seriously thinks he could do this performance (vocals only) with any amount of practice then take the challenge, document the progress, prob get double the views of just reacting to it.
Its funny how everyone who’s listening to this song totally misses the Anekke part which slays
I encourage you to listen to "Juular" It 's been recorded in the same session as Kingdom if I'm not wrong. Juular is a spectacular song. My best wishes to you. 😊
"What the William Faulkner" rotflol
He’s such a performer and doesn’t take himself seriously, character! Great range and variety of style in his vocals. Great reaction
I thought the exact same thing about Voldemort. On the original video I commented about it.
"What the William Faulkner?" 🤣
Not only is Devin an amazing musician. He puts on a show. It's like a freaking comedy show just watching Devin perform. Lol
AND HERE WE HAVE THE BEST VOCALIST IN METAL!
So wrong on the assertion that he isn't producing a lot of volume
Devin is not only a fantastic vocalist, but a great showman. Been watching him since '94
ahahaha first 30 seconds and you already loved him even without listening his voice ahahaah thats what he does to people!
holy crap…ok, going to binge Devin Townsend now…
