Dropping nuclear weapons on anyone is terrible. Israel is entirely separate from the question of "should we just help every country in the world" & I think it's disingenuous to act as if it isn't…. I don't think we should be helping all the countries we help in all the ways we help them, however, helping our allies with their defense when being attacked is not just "foreign aid"….. If China attacked England would we be saying "Well we really don't want to just give money to every person that asks …. It's not up to us to police the world ….."? I hope not. I hope we would help our ally with their defense, just as we would expect them to help us…. That is the point of establishing allies…. right? Is it because it's from a terrorist organization from within their own country? Like if a bunch of Canadians came to the US & claimed the area for themselves & began attacking us we couldn't request assistance from our allies?
