  1. I've recently had a heart attack and also been told I have lung cancer can I take vitamin D I hear it can affect my heart medication and what would be a safer dose if possible thanks

  2. Hey Dr. John, wondering your thoughts on sun exposure for mitochondrial health – it's infrared exposure that helps. One video I watched said this was the causal explanation for why people with higher vitamin D counts died less from covid, the vitamin D correlated with sun exposure but it was actually enhanced mitochondrial function from infrared exposure.

  3. I will never go on statins, I take fish oil and eat good butter and olive oil. My doctor is shocked every time I tell her I over dose on animal fats.. but my blood tests bear witness.. that it works.

  4. I think K2 is a red herring. I take vitamin D, but I don't take K2. Big Pharma doesn't want us taking vitamin D. They invented a non-existent property of D3 and called it hypercalcaemia. It is designed to scare us away from vitamin D. So, the supplement manufacturers told us to take k2, to prevent the bogus condition called hypercalcaemia, which never happens. K2 is most abundant in a Japanese fermented food called Natto. Which nobody eats. Agricultural workers in sunny countries get lots of vitamin D from the sun. But do they take K2? No, they don't. But do they drop dead with hypercalcaemia? No, they don't. K2 is bollocks. K2 is Chinese whispers. It is pseudo science. It is hype. Don't take it. It is an expensive waste of time.

  5. For myself – a 58 yr old woman who had ovary removed in 2020; menopause and life long anxiety/depression.. so I now take (Dr Berg brand 20,000 IUs D3+ k2);, magnesium, Standard Process brand Zinc, Cataplex B Core, Multizyme, Pancreatrophin and a Himalaya brand menopause Care supplement . I am so very energized and happy! Twice I have lowered my D3 and frustration and sadness return; twice I decreased some others and similar sadness. I believe start HIGHER doses (I did) then stay a while THEN try lowering ONE at a time; you’ll see if you feel same or worse. stay in touch w a good health care provider such as Naturopath. Dr CAMPBELL is RIGHT— we are ALL LEARNING! PRAY 🙏 and give thanks, BUT GOD has awaken me to real health! So grateful!

  6. I take vitamin D3 20,000 I.U. daily with 200 mcg K2, magnesium, zinc, cod liver oil and black seed oil 🤢 (as recommended) I’m melanated and while I wish I could get more sunlight, it’s not always possible living in Canada, so increase levels of vitamin D3 are my way of making sure I get adequate amounts. I’m also battling pre diabetes and Cystic Fibrosis. Strangely enough it seems to have helped with the incontinence I developed as a result of coughing from the Cystic Fibrosis.

  7. My blood results have shown my vitamin D levels are 191 nmol/L (76.4 ng/mL).
I have been taking 4000iUs of D3, then upped to 8000iUs, for a good 9 months. I have taken 100mcg of K2 and magnesium citrate (200-400mg). These have all been the Solgar range. My GP has said that my D levels are in the toxic range. I have consumed mixed nuts or good fats whilst taking these. My serum calcium is 2.28 mmol/L.

I live in the UK and am 60 yrs of age.

I have not had any respiratory illnesses over the winter months. (I would usually have several)

    I'm about 60 kgs in weight – 5 feet 6.5 height

  8. K2 (mk4) seems like a very safe vitamin to supplement with no known upper tolerable limit. Multiple mg a day has been tested as perfectly safe despite how massively over the requirements that is. Almost like a water soluble vitamin in that way

  9. American Doctor Janine Bowring ND, suggested taking Vit D in the Morning and Vit K in the evening before bed, Instead of together in one supplement, as she thinks it could damage the arteries if taken at the same time.

  10. We were called limeys because sailors ate them to stop scurvy, I heard some other navy's ate sourcrout and the sailors weren't keen so they made the officers eat it and the sailors felt left out and because officers ate it they did, but scurvy is vit C deficiency.

  11. Dr Campbell, I started taking vitamin D3 and K2, because my most recent bone density imaging showed I’m borderline osteopenia osteoporosis. I didn’t like a Prolia medicine tablet which gave me body aches, only took one and stopped. Asked my primary physician what other options I had, he said same med in injection, but would have same side effects. And the co-payment was quite high. Praying this vitamin combination and increasing my intake of calcium rich foods would halt the bone loss. My labs have shown I have a good level of vitamin D, this was just before adding the K2.
