Did you cut your fingers cutting up mackeral?
I absolutely love canned fish. My favorite are in olive oil and my favorite brands are, King Oscar, Nuri, Bela, and Ortiz. I usually eat them straight from the can with Tabasco Habanero hot sauce. 😍😋😋😋😋
Andrew Zimmern – Always THE Best 👀 🏆 👀
We have their sardines in the cupboard. They are gourmet.
do they have fresh fish there?
no machine? no robot?
Beautiful country and excellent pickled snacks and general food also 👌
I live in Portugal. I almost didn’t watch this video because I thought Andrew would be bias. Andrew, thank you so much for being honest. I don’t like some of the canned fish prepared in a restaurant. I am not a fan of that restaurant
👍
When I went to Austria and Switzerland camping and they are both land locked countries. One of the most common and popular foods were tinned sardines and other tinned seafoods.
Love the vid! I've never tried filleting a mackerel but I will offer that sometimes a dull knife is the best tool for the job.
My daughter just brought back a can of swordfish and a can of smoked octopus from Portugal, they were absolutely amazing!
AZ really cut himself up. Peep the band aids.
I like your Keyshawn Leek; the fish, meh.
Loved this episode! Andrew Zimmern's visit to the Canned Fish Capital of the World was fascinating and mouth-watering—amazing to see the rich history behind canned fish!

It's a great pleasure to see again the "Maestro" Andrew Zimmers, after several years. Thank you !
I like this.
Makeral is genuinely one of the only things I can't handle.
This is old, I've watched this episode here on YT a long time ago.
AZ just the professional. All love and reality. Gratitude.
Canned Fish etc… can be excellent but you have to keep it simple.
Would love to visit there!
🤩🤩If you want to enjoy most of the best varieties of fish you need to go to Russia they have so many and done in so many ways all of it tastes so good
🧐🧐Why so much hard work if bones can be cooked til they fall apart while eating they turn to powder if properly cooked fish so no need to debone to much work and bones even taste awesome that way
Love sardines
I don't know why anyone eats sardines. So gross.
WOW! 😳 I have NEVER and just maybe this would be twice that I ever seen Andrew say that he truly disliked ANYTHING and gave description for it too! GO! Andrew!!! He has stepped it rite on up knotches not to hesitate on pulling people down on off their high could I say high “sardines!” 🤣
Hmmm, Sausages, I love carrots
I knew this was going to be about Portugal! Nothing like Portuguese 🍲 stew
