These games look amazing! Better graphics and more interesting game design than a lot of commercial games I remember playing on my STFM back in the day. It's a pity that magazine never replied; they might have guided you to a publisher who would put your work out there.
Wow, It is great to see you here again. You are an extremely talented person. Do you remember the interview we did a long time ago? https://www.atarilegend.com/interviews/interviews_detail.php?selected_interview_id=20
I will have my eye out on this channel and your new work. Amazing!
Ferociously precocious – the sheer volume (and quality) of work is astonishing for a self-taught chap.
<applause!>
Wow, that is amazing, I wish I did this as a teenager.
Awesome video thanks for sharing!! Yes please make more if you have the time. You reminded me of the days I use to dabble in 68000 coding on my STFM. Unfortunately I couldn't really finish anything because of school and college work. There are a hand full of games on STFM i was really disappointed with that could have been so much better and I wish I had the time to remake them because I have so many ideas now on how to optimise them inorder to pull the best out of the hardware.
Wow What a journey! I was an 8-bit then ST user at around the same age.. my programming went into BBS Doors / style games, but certainly never made it nearly as far as what you did as a teenager.. Very impressive effort, and I'd also love to hear more about what went into developing these games.. I assume it was a lot of compartmentalization, and also did you have a harddrive to speed development or was it all floppy?
Great stuff – thanks for sharing !
Hey nice video, and nice games! I've been thinking of doing something very similar about my STOS games, but then your games look like they blow mine out of the water 🙂 Please do more videos, more detail on each game is needed – e.g. the graphical & music assets, how the AI works, etc.
Nice 😀 – please make more of these if you can find the time, maybe even go into more detail about the development process. That dungeon crawler looks great – I would have loved that back in the day, Tony Crowthers Captive is my all time favourite game, and I spend a great deal of time trying to make a 2-player version like Bloodwyche, but didn't get very far. I find this stuff very interesting, +1 sub in the hope that you make more videos like this.
