Use Your Brain, Try To “Noodle It Out”



One of my favorite things about exploring old industrial sites is trying to figure out what the old machinery was used for. This large polishing/grinding booth lay in an abandoned hardware company in the midwest. Numerous hinges would have been quickly finalized on this machine. Rough edges and burs were unacceptable on a finished product, so they had to go. You also need extra safety on the rotating machinery. You could and would lose an arm or appendage, if you weren’t careful. Before entering or farting around with these machines, I always make sure they are powered down :/
