  1. Anyone that still believes that armies or governments are not experimenting with armed versions of the things is just naive, stupid or both.

    These are the perfect "law" enforcers.

  2. There is a reason why Boston Dynamics new Atlas is still in the works, they are sparing no expense in my opinion to ensure the eventual marketing of the Atlas models so they don’t go wrong and that they are more stable. Besides I would love to teach an Atlas self defense.

  3. We need to move from Narrow AI into at least General AI in order to make any of this practical for market. But as we only have Narrow AI, this is going to take a while. Without advanced AI, these are just programmed bots, with very basic limitation to external factors. Not in our lifetime.
