Make military service mandatory
Pat you forget we had a draft in 1973. I joined the Marine Corps in 1978. My teachers and family served and they influenced me to join. Everyone needs to understand that defense is everyone's duty. We need the old GI bill and the draft. Everyone needs to serve. I spent time with other nations military (South Koreans Turkey Thailand and Japanese soldiers) They all have conscription except for the United States including the nations you've mentioned. If wokeness bothers you then you need to address the real elephant in the room. The country needs a peacetime draft.
Get women out of there. Let men be men and stop trying to be what you’re not.

In an age where the love of most has vanished, love of country is a ridiculous concept. I understand loving people. Jesus told us to love other Christians. The love of family is presumed. Some love dogs. I can't understand the love of a country. Why would anyone love an abstract like that. It's like loving a fence post. One might appreciate the benefits he/she gets in a country, but love? Take Pat Tillman. He was nuts, and gave up his football riches and life for what? To join the military? His country sent him "over there" to murder people who were not the ones who attacked NYC. He gets killed by other US soldiers seeking to kill men who invaded their land, disrupting their lives, & killing their people. Tillman would have done better to play football, and give his salary to support victims of terror, who lost husband, father, miother. Give his $ to support them. Instead he was about killing people who had nothing to do with the attack. He could have really helped needy families. He wasnt needed over there, but his money was needed here. Why would someone love a country? It's nuts. It's a brainwashing tool. It's weaponized by the govt to manipulate its citizens to train hard and to cross the planet to murder people who didn't harm Tillman or his family. Pat Bet David you are hopelessly brainwashed, and that's pathetic. Saying that does not mean we have nothing good to celebrate here. We have had, until recently wealth pillored from Great Britain, Germany, & etc. We can appreciate many things about the USA. Politics is war by another means. Love war? There are many "good" things about USA, & many bad. One can thank God for the good things, but love God, not the things of the world. Nowhere does God tell us to love our country. He doesnt even tell the people to love Israel. Love God. Love each other, love love your enemies. IF you are a Christian, then you are a citizen of heaven. You are not encouraged to seek or practice dual citizenship. I dont hate America. I am thankful for living here. Is it the BEST country? By what standards do you measure? I think not. The USA has for a generation at least foisted sexual wickedness upon the world, via media. Things that carried a death penalty in God's book and country are proudly celebrated here. Gender confusion is perhaps the strongest way to defy God. It denied God made us a certain way & expects certain behavior. USA is surely the spiritual harlot of Babylon sharing the filth of her abominations across the globe. We taught women's rights which destroyed femininity, and the family. God hates divorce, with Media we spread that poison across the planet. We drive families apart, paying spouses to abandon their vows & paying for the children to be ripped away from the father. In the history of Earth has there ever been a nation that encourages & supports fimnancially a woman taking ALL a man worked for his entire life, ONLY because the woman is not happy? We could go down long lists of ways the USA has supported ungodliness, and rewarded evil. Even 300 years ago driving natives from their homes with lies, theft, murder, rape from east to west across a continent, what's to love there? You are deeply confused. Love God, what He has done for you. Your citizenship is in heaven, from where your salvation comes. Love God, who is sheer perfection, not a country. He does not err.

Our country has had its ups and its downs but if you take into consideration of where we were 250 years ago to now, that’s a big up swing. I hear people talk about the US and what we do wrong internationally and domestically, even from elected representatives. I think my Father put best (Vietnam Vet), you never disrespect the flag because that flag is a representation of this countries values and principles which are based around individual liberties. No other country in the world, not now or ever, has a Constitution that tells the government what it can and cannot do, all other Constitutions tell the citizens what they can or cannot do.
