  1. He never heard the snickers as they were trying to keep a straight face? What a maroon.
The prof must have ground his teeth down while students fell asleep.

  2. A Well articulated man is a” devils advocate” for leaning towards Republican Ideas? Then you automatically assume everything he believes are opinions rather then facts. You are completely demonizing the idea of independent thought outside of democratic ideals.

  3. Grew up near Charleston, SC thirty years ago. NFW he was the only "right-leaning" person in those classes, let alone the only one to say anything. I remember having full-on debates with right-leaners in the FIFTH GRADE.

  4. You mean like a statement of fact being that electric cars hurt the environment more than gas cars.. or a statement of fact saying that in the English language he/him pronouns are synonymous with males only? If these are what is grinding your lecturers to a halt, then you should probably get teachers who only teach the facts…

  5. I also studied Poli Sci and had to deal w/ a few right leaning people that ruined the classes. There were plenty of people that were conservative, but it was on an idea or a principle; this is the thing I am not prepared to move on; I cannot really get behind that. But the College Republicans were super fucking annoying and their "arguments" were easily defeated within minutes, but again, that slowed the class down and their resolution was "agree to disagree" and we were like "No. You tried to say this is the way and it was factually incorrect. There is a correct answer on this, it is not just an opinion".

Also, "thanks for sharing your opinion" is my way of saying I got to look at my position and think about whether this is what I truly believe, and the answer was 92% yeah, that is my position and 6% of the time I became up in the air. A right-leaning position never won me over to their side, it just made me think that my original thought needs to be modified.
