Battlestar galactica has one of the best tv episodes of all time in season 4 when Roslyn speaks to the hybrid
Riley and Erin's relationship was blatantly romantic if you ask me.
Took me a while, but finally watched it. 100% worth the wait. MM is your best recommendation for me yet.
1. Firefly 2. Stargate 3. Babylon 5 4. DS9 5 scape above and beyond 😮
MIDNIGHT MASS LOVE LET'S GOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
so sad that you haven't done a stargate video yet
ds9 is better than tng, THAT being said tng has riker
You have clearly never watched Babylon 5
I'll take your point about the loving the potential of Firefly, and add that Firefly only really had HALF a season.
They made 14, but only broadcast 11.
Oh, Daniel, …
How does someone politely tell another that their opinion is simply wrong? 😂😅
I'm glad that you enjoyed BSG.
🥴
Fringe not being your top pick definitely surprised me and has me wanting to watch Midnight Mass…mission accomplished
Trash
About a year ago, I figured I go watch some old Twilight Zone episodes. Easy fun viewing… I'd seen virtually all of them, so I know what to expect. I know the effects – few and far between – are very dated. I know how they generally play out. What's the big deal? I picked one I didn't recognize – it turned out to be "And When the Sky Was Opened".
Damn thing was the stuff of nightmares.
So say we all.
#1 – Babylon 5, #2 – Dark, #3 – Fringe, #4 – The Expanse, #5 – Altered Carbon (Season 1 only) or Star Trek: Next Gen.
21:28 Gotta love how buying Twitter is comparable to being responsible for genocide/holocaust. That was cringey.
I have a friend with a cat called Gaius Balthar.
This is the closest list I have ever seen on YouTube that fits my own opinion. Now I gotta go watch your #1 ❤️
(Also 100% agree on Firefly)
I love Father Paul because he’s somehow both the antagonist AND the protagonist (honestly I still see Bev as the true antagonist because even Paul was kind of manipulated by her, even as he manipulates the whole town)
Firefly is definitely my #1.
That unparallel is feeling of joy and sadness when you have watched, almost all the shows in the video, and now you left wondering what’s next.
I'd like to know where you'd put Dr. Who in your sci fantasy list?
I would love to see your opinions on Doctor Who.
Twin Peaks is insanely perfect
5. Midnight Mass
4. Game of Thrones
3. Firefly – I INCLUDE SERENITY AS THE LAST EPISODE AND YOU CANT STOP ME
2. The X-Files
1. Buffy The Vampire Slayer & Angel
What can I say? I’m a sucker for a monster of the week combined with sharp dialogue and deceptively deep characters
Midnight Mass is great; it is NOT sci fi. idiotic to put that in there. The Expanse is #1 hands down .. didn't even watch the video. come on man… get a grip or take a nap
Bylawsl
Amos Burton turning to Danie Greene. "Expanse not number one on the list, Daniel?" Dramatic pause as Daniel realizes he effed up monumentally. Amos raises his weapon. "Expanse is that show."
Aight I'm going to go watch Midnight Mass right now…
Needs more The Expanse!
Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis can never be beat for me in terms of rewatchability and falling in love with the entire cast.
I watched Midnight Mass based on this video. It wasn't bad, but definitely not deserving of all the praise. Not better than TNG or BSG and certainly not #1. I was in disbelief as I watched and realized it was just another take on vampires, oh lawdy.
I'm so with you on BG, Kara Thrace and Baltar!
Midnight mass is great but it’s not fantasy or sci-fi
I absolutely love TWIN PEAKS and would call it my favorite franchise ever, but I don't think of it as sci-fi. It's a definitely a genre-bender, but I feel all its trippy and weird moments lean more into the fantastical.
I've actually never heard of Midnight Mass, so thanks for bringing it to my attention! My top 5 (unranked) would be Battlestar Galactica, LOST, Star Trek: TNG, The Leftovers and of course, Firefly!
