I thought "Thunder Heart" with Val Kilmer should have been included. It highlighted what was going on in the 1960's with Indian unrest. I was lucky enough to live in San Leandro, only a few blocks from where Russel Means and Dennis Banks lived. I used to go over there and watch them carve totems.
A little known movie which should get honorable mention was "Shadow of the Hawk" with Jan Michael Vincent.

I love Native American movies. My favorite is Dream Catcher. My other favorite is Dances with Wolves even though I do not like Costner. Costner acting in that one was too fake but all Native American actors in that movie was excellent and authentically believable. Wind River was good too and it brought to the country the real problem with Native Indian women being murdered every year and they are not being investigated by the FBI despite the numbers of women being murdered is high. If they were white women being murdered at that rate, the FBI would be on it.
