  1. I loved Salem, but I think it's too low on this list and a bit more realistic when it comes to people not always getting the happy endings they want no matter what cost they pay. The characters seem to be based off of the Crucible, where due to Puritan rule a young Mary has to make a hard decision when the man she loves is sent off to his death to war by the richest man who is the leader of town and who also wants Mary to be his. Years after hearing that the man she loved has died, he comes back only to find her the wife of the same man who lusted after her. What he doesn't know is that she is now also a powerful witch plotting the destruction of the Puritans by completing a ceremony and raising the Devil intending to make Salem a place where witches can rule. There is romance, violence, murders(one pressing, multiple hangings), loyalty/and loyalty broken, sex(it was more sexual than I thought it would be, but yeah, it's there), witch hunters, familiars, witch vs witch, exorcisms, hauntings, spells, tonics, a seer, and the usual drama. Obviously, I like this show the most out of the list, but that's just me. It explores a witch panic in a fictional version of the Salem Witch trials, where small things such as a mark or the pointing of a finger can lead to the hanging of innocents. This is also more historical take to drama.

    * I feel like anything int he realm of tvd is more supernatural than witch, witches are a part of the show, but not the main focus.

I did enjoy Fort Salem, thought it should have ran longer, I wanted to see more magic classes and tests before it ended, but it is a good show that does focus on witches in the military as well as internal power conflicts and a fight for peace between humans and witches.

The Secret Circle was also great despite being one season long it has 20+ eps, it is about teen witches and secrets of the past(their parents) which leads to deaths(murders, murder in the opening scene of the show), witch hunters, demons, a curse, so on..

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is another show that focuses mainly on witches, unlike Salem whose devil is more..demonic and less sophisticated than TCAoS Lucifer, more bestial and cruel(Salem's devil).

Witches of East End also felt abruptly ended, it's about witches who have lived and died multiple times over time due to a curse placed on them as well as their mother and aunt who have their own separate curses. They try to stop the curses from taking their lives while dealing with evil (and family) drama per every show that has a good vs evil complex.

The Magicians…sort of stopped off on the season before last. It's funny and has mature humor, dark, adventure, magic(always a key for witch shows).

I haven't seen AHS in full, but don't they have witches over several different seasons? I'm sure the seasons are great, but I don't know which focus on witches 🙂 (I'd consult my friend google for that answer).

WandaVision…I did enjoy the show, but I don't know I feel that's off from the list since Wanda's power came from one the stones. And then we're seeing what happens to this once-upon-a-time hero after Infinity Wars. Most of it is Wanda creating a false reality where Vision is alive, where she has a happy family until it comes to light to her that none of it was real which makes it sad after seeing her through the different shows and how happy she was.

I haven't seen Mayfair Witches yet. I have seen Charmed, and some of the revival. I think I only watched one ep of A Discovery of Witches.

*Recently I watched Domino Day which came out this January, I liked it, it wasn't trying too hard in my opinion. The main character is a witch who seduces men and drains them of their energy, though she can't help it she lands on the radar of a coven who try to find out who she is as well as what type of witch she is. There's a lot of energy stealing, some spells, two vanishings(she screamed and two guys disappeared, but one came back), an evil power obsessed ex, and people who wanted kill or seal her basically.

*Another show I've watched in the past which I watched on AllBlk was Wicked City, it has two seasons out now. It's not a super long series, but it's basically about a girl who doesn't know she's a witch at first, her mom dies, and she's sent to a shop to find out basically about who she is and what she can do, while other witches with different gifts who are friends often visit and train there. One of the witches wants to improve her abilities, because she makes light of her gift and does with spell with her friends and the girl who just came to town and one of the friends dies, is revived, and hell breaks loose.

*A lot of different shows have magicians and witches, but not necessarily as the main focus, like Once Upon a Time, The Witcher, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, there's also The Wheel of Time(but would you call the aes sidai, don't know if I spelled this right, witches?), Grimm(has hexenbiest which is part witch and can cast spells and conjure potions), Sleepy Hollow(series), Bitten(mostly about werewolves, but witches are introduced in the second season I think). I can't think of any other witches show at the moment, unless we go into anime territory, examples: Castlevania(Magicians), FairyTail(Wizards), The Witch and The Beast, Jujutsu Kaisen(They say sorcerer), Can I list Sailormoon even though they use magic they're not actually witches…oh well.

  2. You really need to have a stomach that can digest this kind of nonsense.🤮🤮🤮🤮 You should be put under collective surveillance.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  3. The secret circle is stupid n kinda of a waste of time

The magicians is good i am thinking of repeating it

    Legacies is ok ,

    I recommend

    Charmed (life changing love )

    Magicians

    Legacies

    On the kinda funny side

Sabrina original (cute sitcom)1 of fav of all time

the bureau of magical things ( it's cute)

    The librarians is fun too

  4. There was a witch movie back in the late 80's, early 90's that I am trying to think of. At the beginning, this lady is running away from a coven of witches and a guy ends up saving her. They of course fall for each other, and he keeps protecting her. At the end of the movie, you find out she was part of the coven, and he was the actual target the entire time. The name of the movie I swore was something simple like Spellbound but can't remember it.

  5. So many white witches when we know historically that real witchcraft was and is still practiced by the Afro-descendant and Indigenous peoples of the Americas, for example Candomble, Hoodoo/Voodoo, Santeria/Regla, Winti, and so on…
