  1. I understand being a father myself to a 6 year old. I am in a very fortunate position where I have a full commercial grade gym at home so I train 3 hours every morning before anyone else gets up. We homeschool so no rushing to get out the door in the morning either.

  2. Really love this style of video Adam! Still love your previous kind of content, but the vlog definitely suits you. As a dad of almost two it’s very insightful and inspiring!

  3. 5:05 – I'm getting a lot out of this abstract view. Because I've just started resistance training, and after 8 weeks with a week break, I sort of know what I'm doing, it's time to change up and resequence, but I don't have the kinesthetic memory to learn a boatload of new exercises. This is general enough to make my own menu for.

  4. Good content, love the way you make training as playful and adaptable as possible to keep it both engaging and realistic for yourself. I have two small kids and when I’ve finally finished work for the day or for the weekend, I feel I can’t shirk an iota of parenting/house management responsibilities to indulge my hobbies, because my wife is losing her mind by that point with the kids, understandably! So I’ve shifted my exercise regimen to high frequency, doing whatever I can whenever I can, even if it’s very short and sweet and random and incomplete. I’ve been amazed by how effective it is. What seems like an incredibly compromised approach, both under- or over-training depending how you look at it, now seems to me like exactly what I should have been doing all along, going back over 20 years to my student days. I actually think I’d have got bigger and stronger, and would 100% have had a healthier body and a healthier balance in life, relationships etc etc.

  5. I like the vlog format just try to be more natural obviously you’re not used to the lack of editing and not being able to go over what you said several times but it’s good to see how you go about your day today just remember relax 🧘‍♀️

  6. Found this vid great. Really humanising to see that even the Bioneer struggles to fit workouts in lol. Have you done a vid on active recovery on a busy schedule?

  7. I'm not usually one for the 'vlog' formar, but have actually found this one very interesting and useful. It's nice to see how you fit all that mad training around normal life, which a lot of fitness people in the YT space don't do.

  8. Loved this video and it’s so true, whilst the advice of childless fitness influencers is valid, it’s only helpful to a certain number of people. I like to get my training out of the way earlier in the morning before my daughter wakes up cause that’s the only time I’ve got. Once you become a parent, everything else comes second and you want to be involved as much as you can so you need a smarter approach to training.

  9. Thanks for giving us some insight into the challenges of being active with a full life. I would love to hear more about the psychology of working with DOMS and other daily aches and pains from working out consistently. It's great to see you do all of this cool stuff, and other positive fitness influencers or sports scientists discussing the physical aspects of training. Getting a sense of scale and analysis of aches, pains, and distinguishing pre-injury conditions, etc., would be very cool.
