I'm 73yo. I was born in a democrat family (1951) .democrat party left me in 1978 . Voted for Ronald Reagan in 1980. No regrets.

As a white man I’ll never understand why black ppl love the party that fought to keep them as slaves and has done nothing but harm them and has rejected the very party that fought and died to free them and was the only votes that truly gave them civil rights and the vote. If Lincoln could have had a full second term, maybe we would have had the Civil Rights Act 100 years earlier. Equal rights should have been part of the emancipation proclamation.
