  1. I truly can't believe those people "wondered if they should continue camping?" Ahhh there is no wondering it would be the city life for me!
If I see an old man turn into anything other than a street I am moving from that city too.

  2. Fascinating storytelling, but it's hard to believe the stories being told, because so called experienced hikers and campers that get lost in the woods or mountain ranges are not carrying either a Handheld GPS like a Garmin (since 1989) or a Satellite Phone (since 1998) have been proven to be Lifesavers for hikers and campers.

  3. OMG, these hiking stories were definitely frightening. I couldn't imagine going alone to the mountains, let alone camping alone! There's just too much freaky and spooky stuff that goes on out in the woods. 🌿✨️🌿✨️

  4. Djinn are said to have been created long before humans were, and like humans, they had free will and could choose whether to be benevolent, malicious, or neutral when interacting with humans. There’s actually a few different types of Djinn. The ones typically associated with demonic beings are the Shaitan (pronounced similarly to Satan) The being called “Iblis” who is similar to the Christian Devil and fallen angel Lucifer supposedly is a Shaitan. Another type are Ghouls, who are exactly like the same creatures known to the western world. There are Maarid, and Ifrit types of Djinn too. They are not all evil, or good, or anything. They decide what they want to be freely day to day.

  5. FYI: If you encounter a predator in the wilderness, any kind of apex predator that is capable of eating or fatally injuring you, DO NOT RUN! Unless you are only a few feet from a solid structure like a building, vehicle, or anything that can serve as an impenetrable barrier against them, running will trigger the animal’s instinctual prey drive and will DEFINITELY give chase. Even if the animal was not interested in being aggressive towards you and was just curious, once you run, instinct takes over.
Also, there are specific behaviors that you should employ depending on the specific animal you encounter. For bears, there’s a funny little saying to help you remember. “If it’s black, fight back. If it’s brown, lay down. If it’s white, good night.” The last one was in reference to a polar bear, which there’s no trick to avoiding being mauled and likely killed and consumed. Polar bears are the largest of the species, and are also the most aggressive, and should be avoided at all costs. Obviously, this little saying applies to the bears of the North American continent, and may not apply to bears in other parts of the globe like Asia or Eastern Europe (if they have bears, which I’m not sure if they do…)
I personally think you should NEVER go into the wilderness without being armed…with a gun capable of actually protecting you, not a tiny little.22 or something. If firearms are not your thing, or you’re legally prohibited from possessing them, then you’ll be fine with bear spray. But it’s got to be the real deal bear spray from the outdoor/sporting goods type store. Regular pepper spray doesn’t have the same range, or capacity as the genuine bear spray. The real stuff can spray a giant cloud of highly concentrated pepper spray nearly fifty feet. They have the same active ingredient, but the volume of spray per second, the power of the propellant, and the bear spray should be EPA certified too. Any knock off garbage can end up failing and you will be covered in the oily pepper formula and not the bear…but that may still protect you from getting eaten!

  6. All the weird stuff around here is the same thing just in different forms. Ill be 40 next year and ive lived here all my life. It's not just Mt. Shasta. Its the whole county. There is something wrong with this place. If I suddenly go nissing then I've said too much 😅
