Willy Wonka can!
Blueberry spearmint or peppermint? Bruh id probably like that one
This man knows what he is doing.
This is absolutely beautiful. It isn't just candy. It's one part history, one part science, and other equal parts of art, technique, and a delightful dash of whimsy. I love hearing about all the artifacts that go into making these charming treats, as well as the history of why they were created. Making food and especially treats is a lesson in culture and identity, crafted through thousands of years of human civilization, delivered to us in a bite-sized package.
Someone needs to do BBQ brisket candy…
I follow and have followed Greg Cohen personal channel for years and it's so refreshing to see him getting the credit he deserves. I still remember him buying and fixing the drop candy model!
Started out great, I was getting a bit tired of his flowery exposition by the corn, and ready to smash his face in by the time he started jerking himself off to his ham candy. He was also wrong about a couple of things.
1. Candy can absolutely trap air, that's whole point of pulling. He outed himself as a dummy trying to explain how to "carbonize" candy.
2. Apple cider is not carbonated…. TF? Hard cider is, but 99% of non alcoholics do not think of hard cider when they hear "Apple cider"
3. Banana is an incredibly potent flavor, maybe he's just never made banana candy?? Because I'm a nonce and I made banana candy in high school and it was like you just deep throated a banana
All the good ones are named greg😭
This presentation was spot on- this guy not only makes me want to come try the candy but its as if I couldn't have anything other than a great experience because- BRAVO!
This video is like a warm hug. What a lovely, gentle soul.
I've been watching Lofty Pursuits since I was a freshman in highschool. I am now 25 years old
Wish there were more candies that do not have artificial colors in them… 😢 I miss em
Let’s just hope the blueberry pie flavor doesn’t have the same blueberrying effect like the movie
of all the random things youtube could recommend to me, this has been one of the best ever. like, how someone comes up with this sort of thing is just astounding
i love when people love what they do. this guy is oozing passion and charm for his craft. i want a bag!
0:39 sweet what
Video is awesome but I'm just wondering whether the hair of the person making the candy goes into the product! Sorry it's just the perception of a quality control professional
I'd want to eat some bars of that blue berry while its still soft
Who eats their desert first in the blueberry pie….
Eat the main dish first.
Candy makers got no manners…… smh lol
Charlie and the chocolate factory is starting to become reality
Big fella is living the life
Greg is a true master of the craft. I started watching his channel around a decade ago and he's always a joy to watch because his videos will often be one certain flavor of candy as the main feature, and a whole history lesson just as a fun bonus for watching and listening.
Why does WIRED do so many videos on this shop… weird.
candy candy he makes so much …
Greg is Wonka-like himself.
I'm behind a year but I'm so glad to see they had Greg on for this. I need to catch up with everything going on there as well! Any trip to Florida needs to have a stop at his shop.
This guy is my hero.
This man looks like gabe newell if he was a candy maker
Never had table sugar on the dinner table but why not haha
Can I order this online? I'm so intrigued …
Liquid. Hot. Magma.
Since when is Apple Cider carbonated?
Wired: "You mean to tell us that this guy is going to basically do all the narration for us, and we just gotta hold the camera? He even said he will edit everything?!"
This video is seriously painting eating kilograms of sugar as a good and heartwarming thing. That man is feeding people pure poison. Of course, he's fat and unhealthy himself. The way these things are nornalised is disgusting. Think of sugar as tobacco. When you give your kids a candy bar, it's like giving them a cigarette. Not so normal now, isn't it? And that's not an exaggeration. It really IS that harmful.
For those who don't understand why, this is why RFK Jr. became health secretary. Go keto or get obesity, diabetes and heart attacks. It's your choice.
I HAVENT EVEN HEARD THEM SAY IT YET AND I KNOW ITS PUBLIC DISPLAYS OF CONFECTION I LOVE THEM!!!!@
This gave me the freakin’ smile I needed 🍬🪄
A whole lot of Red40 that leads to Cancerr 😂
China sells corn ice pops, and I think it actually does taste pretty good.
Great story telling ❤
58 seconds in and I love the guy, what a great boss.
Man, I wish I could get a job I love as much as him.
