That was a real neat movie. It is bittersweet for me since my Rosita and I would love to see these movies together. I lost her 4 years ago during COVID.
A Ticket to Tomahawk 1950. The daughter of a railroad executive, Kit Dodge Jr. (Anne Baxter) is a no-nonsense gunslinger, but she finds that she could use a little help when she has to compete with Dakota (Rory Calhoun), the ruthless representative of a stagecoach company. Handsome and smooth-talking traveling salesman Johnny Behind-the-Deuces (Dan Dailey) turns out to be just the ally that she needs, as she attempts to defeat Dakota in a race that pits train against stagecoach.
A really delightful 1950 film. Funny and very enjoyable. Dan Dailey was a truly talented man and Ann Baxter won the academy award for best supporting actress earlier in 1946 in The Razor’s Edge. It was a privilege to view this one!

I’ve ridden that Train from Durango to Silverton. It’s a really pretty trip. I especially loved that the coal ash blew back on the open passenger cars so we got a small taste of what travel was like back in the 1880’s.
Very entertaining, but the stupidest movie I've ever seen
Ann Baxter was quite the beauty. She was perfect for this movie. Pretty cool seeing Marylin Monroe before she became a star.
It lifted my spirits 🫠🤓🇺🇸🤓🫣🤭👍

Great movie. I don't remember seeing this yet on GRIT over the air TV in the San Joaquin Valley between Fresno and Bakersfield.
Fantastic ❤
