  1. A Ticket to Tomahawk 1950. The daughter of a railroad executive, Kit Dodge Jr. (Anne Baxter) is a no-nonsense gunslinger, but she finds that she could use a little help when she has to compete with Dakota (Rory Calhoun), the ruthless representative of a stagecoach company. Handsome and smooth-talking traveling salesman Johnny Behind-the-Deuces (Dan Dailey) turns out to be just the ally that she needs, as she attempts to defeat Dakota in a race that pits train against stagecoach.

  2. A really delightful 1950 film. Funny and very enjoyable. Dan Dailey was a truly talented man and Ann Baxter won the academy award for best supporting actress earlier in 1946 in The Razor’s Edge. It was a privilege to view this one!

  4. I’ve ridden that Train from Durango to Silverton. It’s a really pretty trip. I especially loved that the coal ash blew back on the open passenger cars so we got a small taste of what travel was like back in the 1880’s.
