  1. 0:15 🌸🏵️ No, the painted flowers are not "identical" at all!! The one in Coraline has 8 petals, is white (or maybe tan) on a dark brown background, and has cleaner lines, thinner petals, and a center dot of the same color as the petals. The flower in The Shining has 7 petals, is brown on a tan background, and has fatter, more roughly drawn petals, with crescents added to the petal tips instead of a center dot. (I think there is a faint line in the flower center, but no big dot.)

At first glance, the two painted flowers are superficially similar, but they actually have many differences. I wonder if both flower versions are common traditional decorations of some style of chair found in the eastern US? (I don't think it's Shaker or Chippendale, but those are examples of what I mean by "style of chair/furniture.") ////Bunny kisses for all!

  3. If you didn’t realize the markings on Coraline‘s chair also has something to do with if she didn’t escape the building which we also question, but when the ghost children at the end in Coraline‘s dream a.k.a. message They have halos on their heads with symbols, sort of like what was on the back of Coraline’s chair, so if she didn’t escape, she would become with her children, and if she was free, then she would have one of those on her head with the sun looking thing which was on the back of their chair so the three dead children also had a chair with a mark on it

  4. The two children goes in the picture
