Love how you mixed classic horror vibes with real friendship banter. I am watching with the lights on. 😀
The concept is inter and the characters are a bit more compelling that the usual fare, but there are a lot of wasted scenes and meaningless ‘jump scares’. The use of music to highlight unease is nice, but poorly used. It should reflect the character’s mental states instead of providing dramatic irony. WE know the trip will end poorly, we don’t need the music to tell us that. Instead, let it match the character’s moods and let it subtly shift over time to build suspense and then terror. I feel like this was a film major’s final project, and as such it was quite good, but not enough to be worthy of the big screen.

Should've been a short that started at the house. Then could've filled in a back story in five minutes and less long shots of nothing that's supposed to create tension but just creates frustration. Could've been a 40 minute short.
