i think the real probelm is the lack of dlc in rdo gtao gets only two updates a year now but there vary big ones so theirs a lot to keep players in gta online engageed in the content but the lack of updates in rdo is really lacking rockstar doesn't want to make dlc for rdo bc they no that no matter what update they put into rdo they will always make significantly less money off the player base in rdo they flee like they can do better as a video game company and make more money since gta online is more popular among the player base pll will always go towards the online game that has more dlc its like any business if a product dose better and brings in more money then as a company u have to go with the product thats makeing more money even if that means letting go of a previous produet its sad but vary true

Biggest problem is definitely the lack of updates. I won’t say I’m a seasoned player but I’ve played about 300 hrs and though I still enjoy the bounty hunting and other roles it just gets boring quite fast. A lot of the game just feels like grinding at this point. I still play it though, I love the game and really hope they’ll invest some more into it soon. Also I know it’s an outlaw game, but I wish there were more opportunities for positive interactions with other players and that they’d add a way for players to go full defensive where other players couldn’t actually mess with you. I clearly remember how awful my experience was with other players in the early levels because higher level players were bored and started messing with low levels to boost their egos. That being said, and speaking of being dishonorable, I’d also like to see an opportunity to double cross the one you worked for or agreed to help in any mission. It’s way too hard to stay dishonorable in this game I swear. Every time I feed my horse, you know to keep it alive and useful, it absolves 10+ murders.. wtf. Anyway that was my two cents.
You add México and Guarma and new activities there, and the activity comes back in seconds.
Genshin Impact is a perfect example on how to keep a fan base. Hoyoverse releases new dlc content every 3 months almost like clockwork and smaller content within that time frame. You have limited time and resources so there are times that if you want a character or weapon you’ll have no choose but to spend money or wait for a rerun which can be up to a year and I have spend money on that game. RDO I’ve spent hardly anything because of the fact that rockstar does not care about their fan base and when they did finally release DLC content it has been nothing that their fan base asks for. Genshin keeps their fan base engaged whereas RDO I’ve maybe played a couple time in the last couple months and not even to play but to just hang out in camp and catch up with friends. Rockstar is a joke.

We need outlaw passes/QuickDraw clubs back! Made me want to play because I liked the idea of progressing through something and unlocking stuff….. basic game mechanics.
Even though RDO hasn't been getting updates, it still has me logging in. I can't say the same about GTAO, the game has lost its luster in my opinion. IMHO, RDO has the potential to outperform GTAO if Rockstar gave it the updates it needs. Just my two cents.
i loved to log in for the weekly limited clothing, this was my main driver to collect all the sets of collectables every day. Still have alot of gold bars but nothing new is gonna added that is interesting to buy, also the streak reset long ago and the gold bar/ nugget earning nerf. I don't see myself buy anything that isn't really nice since the resource to buy it is so limited now, not worth the hustle to even log in for dailys anymore. I get that they need to earn real money to get it working but shitting on long time players while trying to milk newcomers isn't the way to go….
I honestly gave up and stopped playing about 2 months ago. It's sad honestly how this used to be my favorite game
If we can’t get the content we want and needed at least add the 1899 pistol and Winchester to rdo2 rockstar is just incompetent nowadays it is crazy won’t be buying games they produce for a while since they can’t even take care of their current games
I can't feel confortable in present because all time one hacker cheaters kill me or make my camp to boom or a lot of bulshit like this

It definitely seems like they are waiting on the veterans to quit playing to bring in a new crowd to sell whatever currency they plan to dump (gold or capitale) Also, it seems to be some kind of new business plan for rockstar because they are slowly slowing down on updates for GTA 5. Especially for the PS4/Xbox 1 generation. Pay attention to who they are doing business with. For instance, Xbox does business with Duracell, which is why they still take and come with Duracell batteries. Microsoft is delt in with Duracell…… That's why when you use Duracell batteries in your Xbox controllers, especially the new Xbox, they seem to last longer.
Everything about rockstar is the problem. They’re lost and only returning control to those with passion and creativity can it get better

The old formula where you sell the DLC and new content to single-player and online always worked well financially. As far as these shark cards and gold bars go they are not necessary. Oldschool
I could say negative things about Rockstar, and the decisions they are making…But I'm gonna spread some love instead. capitale can be bought with gold. So the point that vet players are too saturated with currency is the reasoning behind using a seperate currency isn't really sticking i think. The trigger for further development of content, in a larger scale, i think, would be once the new sales of the game peaks off. They are still making a constant stream through new sales, odd as it may seem. So when that tapers off, action is needed to bring the revenue back up..
I swear to god i think i play this game in his shittiest state, i want to do something in this game and i am tired of doing only daily challenges.

At this point, I would pay cash for a real DLC for RDO. If there was a ranch I could buy, horses I could tame, banks and trains I could rob, and multiple new roles. It is nice to dream.
