  1. Every time i think about this i just get wayy to stressed for no fuking reason. Everything is just to confusing, i know a huge amount of workouts but dont do them because i dont know were to start.

  2. Great video! It really helps to understand the « why » behind all this when you’re creating your workout plan and you did a great job of explaining.

Also, the noises you make when you finish an exercise are super funny, I appreciated those too 😂

  3. What garage strength guy is talking about in engineering terms is the amount of work preformed. In this case you multiply weight x reps x sets. So if you have 100lbs and do 3 set of 10 you've preformed 3000 work units. If you track this in excel it becomes real easy the next time you do that exercise. You can do the same weight 3x 12 and that is 3600 work units. Or you can go 105 x 3 x 10 and that's 3150 work units. The key is progression, and tracking it.

  4. I just watched a video of an 11 year old girl clean and jerking 200 lbs. Then I see a front page for a video posted by a woman holding a 20 ? lbs Dumbbell in a single arm rack position with title “Redefining Strength ( at any age ). Maybe???
People are afraid to lift weight then find out they can’t lift weight because they haven’t been producing any time under tension. You eight get better or worse, rarely stay the same.

  5. I’ve seen a ton of your videos and really enjoy watching them, but I’m still not sure on a rep scheme for strength that I can do every workout on my compound lifts without a long program. With a lot of sports I wouldn’t really be able to be consistent with a long program. I was thinking maybe a 5×3 with one back off set?

  6. Hay dane
