This is very Strange. 🙏❤️👍

  3. The Truth Behind the Wings

Operation Nocturne began in the late 1950s at a clandestine facility in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. The aim? To create a hybrid soldier capable of high-altitude surveillance and silent nocturnal flight. Using a mix of human, avian, and unknown DNA (allegedly obtained from a mysterious “meteorite crash” in 1947), scientists attempted to splice the genetics of a hawk and a human, enhancing vision, speed, and stealth.

The result was a humanoid entity with glowing red eyes (designed for night vision), leathery wings, and superhuman strength. Code-named “MOTH” (Mobile Optical Tactical Harbinger), the creature was intended to infiltrate Soviet territories, gather intelligence, and return undetected.

    The Escape and Cover-Up

In November 1966, just as the final phase of the project was about to begin, the MOTH prototype escaped the facility after a power surge caused a containment breach. Witnesses reported seeing a “giant winged figure” around Point Pleasant, sparking the first Mothman sightings. Local residents’ accounts were initially dismissed as hysteria or pranks, but the government dispatched “cleanup teams” under the guise of investigating “wildlife disturbances.”

The MOTH’s rogue behavior escalated when it began exhibiting signs of cognitive malfunction—erratic flight patterns, attempts to communicate with humans, and unprovoked acts of aggression. The infamous Silver Bridge collapse in 1967, often attributed to the Mothman as an omen, was allegedly the result of the creature attacking a weak structural point. Documents hint that the government used the bridge disaster to eliminate eyewitnesses and further bury the project.
