I know the band mostly sings about "left-wing" causes, but I've always loved SOAD.
So unique, there really isn't another musical act before or since quite like them.
Sometimes you have to appreciate the art even if you don't always the message it sends out.
John's drumming has always been central to how they sound.
I was able to see their last show in their last full tour in Florida back in 2007.

I met John after a System of a Down concert in 2001. He was the only one meeting fans and signing autographs after the show. The one thing I remember most was that he said Thank You! No rockstar ego, just a kind humble man.
I'm SURE many many people are familiar with a heavy metal drummer and are influenced by his opinions.

I've been a System fan since I found them in the very late 90's. Their music is up there with the greats. The messaging is so on point and you can tell that they are all really well read.
