Movie is too short for this game its massive the story took me days it should be series
Honestly, I think they should stick to making a movie. Its like you said, the plot could focus on the Blackwater Heist maybe cast Charlie Hunnam or Tom Hardy to play a slightly younger Arthur Morgan. It could also be an origin story on how the gang was formed . Or the movie can be set in an alternate reality where they actually went to Australia and thats where we could add some big a-list australian actors like Hugh Jackman or Chris Hemsworth. If they ever go down the TV route, it could follow Jack Marston leaving to go to Australia for a better life( cast Hugh Jackman, Chris Hemsworth or Sam Neill) .
if they make a cast Nicolas coster waldau is perfect for it
They could start with a black water movie and then depending how it goes, they could make a show with each season being one chapter

I think a TV show would be much better because it would add some things that we were never able to see and make the story more lengthy. Dutch meeting Hosea, Arthur and Mary Linton’s relationship, and John be reduced from hanging when he was a little boy.
The cast is also very important. Josh Brolin would make a good Arthur and John Marston could be played by the really underrated and awesome Brandon Skelnar.
There should be an rdr dlc where Jack gets drafted into WWI, I would like to see that personally. You can get to traverse the trenches and no man’s land, you could raid local barns or help protect citizens. You can walk around military posts and fight off central power fighters and war criminals, it sorta makes it into more of an fps than an open world, but it would be pretty cool.
They should just make a red dead redemption game where you play as Dutch and how he starts the gang and how he take author in the gang and then goes on into the black water heist which would lead with red dead redemption2
Don’t let hbo or Netflix do it. There gonna turn a character into some ass chugging Fag or color swap a PERFECTLY GREAT character into some baboon monstrosity.

The game is basically a movie/series in itself. I think if they make a series they need to create new characters. A live action I feel wouldnt do the game characters justice unless they used the actual game VA’s

I rather would like a tv show rather then a movie but I would be so excited about a movie too! I just feel like and I know many other people feel like this game deserves so much better, it deserves more attention and we are all hoping for some amazing content soon. Just give us it! It’s just sad how they treat the game and us players… 😢 it deserves much better.
Rdr2 chapter for a season would be awful and dull. People won't stick around for 6-8 seasons of 10-12 episodes. However, if season will be like 20-23 episodes you can make strong double episode start as blackwater heist and then make like 2-3chapters for a season. This will lead to stable 3-4 seasons of tv if you want to include rdr 1 story and more, if there will be creative fore Jack's adventures.
TLOU tv wasn't really rushed, bc you can finish whole game in like 10 hours. Considering most of fight scenes were cut out it made sense to make it in one season.

I see rdr more as show than a movie but the show should be more interesting and different and take place a couple years after or before the gang and maybe even get to see a part of the gang tha we didn’t get to see in the game would be really cool to explore and see another part of rdr (a movie really wouldn’t be all tha I think a show would be more impactful and enjoyable in my opinion)
