  1. Term used to be called hermaphrodite. It is a bio mutation. They are born with both incomplete male and female genitals. The are infertile. Many were transitioned to female as it is easier. If she truly a hermaphrodite we have nothing to say. It is a very small percentage. This is a medical issue

  2. This issue has a long history.
The case of the Polish world-class sprinter Stanislawa Walasiewicz, who won gold in the 100 meters in 1932, appears to have been similar. Her male sexual organs were only discovered by chance during her autopsy; the athlete had been shot in 1980.

Walasiewicz is considered the first documented case of an intersex athlete. Several others followed, but they were often very different biologically. Only the consequences for those affected were similar: the athletes, shocked by their usually unexpected anomaly, were insulted, avoided, and stigmatized.

  3. 3:23 exactly! arabian girls dont see Iman looks as anything new or different actually most of us look like her but in foreign countries they have totally different look standards and they r trying to tell us how a female should look like! which is VERY infuriating and offending!

  4. Raised as a girl in a remote traditional Muslim village where 'she' was pushed into the boxing ring and from an early age had ambitions to become an Olympic success? Algeria was the only competing country to win zero medals in the last Olympic games.

  5. No , testostérone is forbidden in women competition. And thats it. Imane has a very high testosterone level, ditto he cannot be allowed to compete with women in sports competitions.
Even women who with time produce even very low level of testosterone are forbidden to compete against women
Thats the rules in athlétisme and natation. So for boksing its even worse as it put the life of women in danger. And that's the core of the problem

  6. She apologised because its the CIO, and as an atlet you dont want to be on the black list of the Olympic Committee..
And not true in Algeria men dont touch women, specialy when Imane sit on the shoulder of his coach, while wearing shorts. Its forbidden in Algeria. And prove he is a man.

  7. Simply put, If you fail a gender test you should not be able to compete. I don't care what people want to say about the boxer's medical condition because either way it gives her an unfair advantage.

  8. Mark Adams of the IOC is not being honest. He says, "She was born female." That's not what the XY chromosomes tell us. Two of our greatest athletes, Martina Navratilova and Caitlyn Jenner (the former decathlete Olympics champion of 1976) both advocate for protecting women in sports.

  9. She still produces testosterone and developed much like a man would which for all purposes makes her more on par with males than females. Woman still need to be protected and it’s not to be mean but I don’t think her fighting woman with this kind of advantage is right.

  10. There should be a third category for trans/non-binary people. It would be way easier for them to get gold medals, but would also protect biological women from being stripped of their victories

  11. Nobody knows these boxers' actual DNA due to privacy issues which is BS. The fact of the matter is that nobody knows these athletes genetic sex, YET. As a nurse, I tend to think Khelif IS genetically male but with female external features (androgynous) but until a DNA test is done we won't know for sure. If a DNA test proves Khelif is male with DSD then the gold was stolen and women have been put at serious risk of permanent brain injury or death. If a DNA test proves Khelif is female with DSD then the gold win was righteous. So far the OIC nor the WBC has released the DNA information. Under the WBC Khelif was disqualified. Under the OIC, qualified, so someone is lying and the gold win SHOULD NOT be considered legitimate.

To address the issue of the confusion, if the baby was born looking female on the outside the body and no DNA test was done at birth to determine the genetic sex, that could have set in place the potential falsity of the female designation on the birth certificate. A lot of DSD males and females can look male or female UNTIL puberty when secondary sex characteristics make parents or doctors question if the birth certificate sex is questionable and initiate a DNA test. Intersex/DSD people still have a genetically determined SEX, they only have an added or deleted chromosome or a mutation on one of the X or Y chromosomes.
