I live in Seattle metro area(Shoreline, Wa) and was stopped by a cop cuz of expired plates, he let me go. I have been ill from a serious disease, I told him. Not to mention that covid hit and it takes A LOT longer to get new tabs
I am caucasian and my brother warned my son that he should just do what cop asks(within reason)

I like officer Tatum, but did he really say that George floyd was resisting arrest? I must have missed that part.
And I agree that, for the most part, if you don’t break the law you won’t have to deal with cops. However, statistics tell a different story. And it’s not just officer shooting…it’s at all levels of crime.
I’m not saying cops are bad, just that racism does exist in this country, and they aren’t exempt from that.

Listening to you guys made me so nostalgic for “cop talk”. My husband was a SWAT officer (Special Enforcement Detail – SED with our agency) and retired ten years ago. I’m a retired Records Officer, I have a brother in law who is a highway Patrolman and a cousin and another brother in law who is a deputy. Yes, there are bad cops out there but 99% are good people like you guys and really did become cops because they wanted to help innocent people. As a Peer Team leader I’ve attended to the families of five officers killed in the line of duty, it’s a terrible heartbreaking honor. LEO’s run toward the chaos when the rest of us run for our lives, they are heroes and deserve our respect and protection. God bless you both for standing tall against the evil and the lies being told in the media and by political ingrates.

The cops are super power hungry. They need to be less of bullies and treat people with respect. I’ve never met a humble cop. They’ve always been assholes. 🤷🏻♀️
To be a cop you have to dissociate from their experiences. I recommend all officers seek psychological help.

The US needs to start holding Royal Commissions on all these allegations of corruption against LE. Corruption is not as rampant here like it is in the US because we have put a very strong message out there to say we won't put up with Corruption any more.
