  1. Break up with basic browsers. Get Opera GX here: https://operagx.gg/TheActMan3

Xbox recently shut down multiple game studios and they gave the most horrible reasons for doing so. After shutting down Tango Gameworks, the developers behind Hi-Fi Rush, I have no faith in Xbox's ability to release high-quality titles. This is… The Never-Ending Decline of Xbox.

  2. The hardware situation seems to have become the reverse of the 360-PS3 console war. The PS3 was technically a more powerful console and games programmed specifically for it and/or exclusives could curbstomp most 360 titles in the power and graphic department, but it was a nightmare for third parties and in the end most multiplatform games were more optimized on the 360. Now we have the Series X which, while some early XSX titles definitely took advantage of the high end hardware, ended up with many titles on Series S that act like the Series X just doesn't exist… or worse, run like an original Xbox One regardless of console. Meanwhile, the PS5 has proven itself a reliable workhorse for more and more third party support big and small even if some of their (timed or not) exclusives might be… questionable once in a while.

However, Microsoft has a bigger problem than technical dick measuring and that is their certification process. Many games have been having trouble getting their games released at all on xbox because it seems like MS are INCREDIBLY SLOW at getting patches through the pipeline and game releases approved. Newly released game has a killer bug that requires a day one patch? An awful reality of modern gaming, but it's even worse when that day one patch becomes a week 1 OR LONGER patch compared to other platforms.

  3. Idk why they are trying to run Xbox/gamepass like Netflix when games are developed and maintained completely differently from movies and tv. The economics that let Netflix mostly work just don’t work for games. And they are fighting losing battles on two fronts with Valve and Sony. If they don’t do a lot of work to turn things around they are going to lose their foothold in consoles and PC. A desktop release of steam OS would be a huge blow to windows as the defacto gaming pc OS.

  4. Sony stallion here. Listen.. Xbox needs to focus on next gen and work on a starcraft shooter/rpg that will run much better on a PC and next gen XBox. That is their best bet now. They can't rush it though, because sony will just launch a much stronger PS6.

  5. If MS keeps going down this route, I can see them sticking to PC hardware and as for games, they may go the way of Sega. Sharing exclusives with Sony while Sony barely sends anything to MS platform aside from PC, no need to purchase an XBOX series X|S at this point.

Sony's PS5 Pro has better specs than the previous PS5, while MS is still releasing the series S with the same specs as their previous S as well as the X.

Players need to stop buying the S and stop letting them get away with selling a poor man's excuse for a current gen console.

Idc about storage when we already have an option to upgrade our current storage.
MS future in the gaming side of things seems to be bleak.

33 terflops (PS5 Pro) vs 12 teraflops (XBOX series S digital 2TB) is a bad look for MS.

  6. People acting like Hi Fi Rush is GTA or Resident Evil or Dark SOuls or something!! You're all crazy none of you played this trash so get off your high horse!

  7. They’re never coming back. Phil Spencer has made it clear. Game pass is the future. They want to be everywhere. They could care less about Xbox as a console. It’s just a place to play Gamepass.
