  1. The timeline is critical. By late August and early September 1857, Brigham Young initiated a new policy of incentivizing the Indians to attack emigrant trains and told the Indian Chiefs their reward would be to keep all the cattle. This sinister plan and strategy was first set into action. Then on September 12, two days after receiving Isaac C. Haights letter via rider James Haslam asking what to do about the emigtants corralled by the Indians at Mountain Meadows, Brigham Young writes a letter to the Superintendent of Indian Affairs stating that he expects the Indians to wreck their vengeance upon the next emigrant train. Whats important to understand is the entire context because Brigham Young wrote a response back to Isaac C. Haight two days earlier on September 10 telling Haight to let the emigrants go in peace but the Indians will do what they may. Brigham Young told James Haslam to go as fast as he could and to spare no horse flesh. So we know by Brigham Young's own words that he knew the emigrants were in danger at the meadows and we know he had just recently incentivized the Indians to attack emigrant trains and we know he said nor wrote anything to discourage the Indians and we know he predicted the outcome of the next emigrant train. What the LDS historians want us to believe is that because Brigham Young did not use the word "kill" and because previous Indian attacks on emigrant trains were on the northern route that these two facts completely exonerate Brigham Young of any advance knowledge or condoning of the massacre at Mountain Meadows. After Brigham Young learned of the massacre he said he was sad and sick of its news. He received an report back from George A. Smith in 1858 stating that the Indians were responsible for the massacre and that John D. Lee was there when it occurred. Brigham Young never made a follow-up inquiry asking the Indians why they uncharacteristically massacred 120 emigrants including women and children and did not investigate why John D. Lee was present on site until far too many years later when under government pressure. To most people who clearly understand this chronology and lack of investigation, the obvious reason is because Brigham Young knew what the answer would be from the innocent Paiute Chiefs. This was a great sin and true repentance and reconciliation will never occur until this truth is confronted.

  2. People really don't understand that this jewish director only has one purpose. Demonizing white people, their biblical enemy. They'll look for anything to make a series or movie about. That's what's on his mind when making the show, not raising "awareness" about some supposed unprovoked attack.

  3. I'm waiting for a Joe Rogan episode with an actual member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I think Steve Young, Mike Lee, Mitt Romney or Glenn Beck would be happy to give a less ignorant history, and maybe even share some doctrine.

  4. My family on my mother's side was located here because of the massacre. My great great grandmother and her baby sister was one of the few survivors. Its been a legend in my family.

  5. The Mormons were in a frenzie over the army telling them how many wives they could have. Their kind of chicken shit they attacked a wagon train that they knew had wealth, they knew had woman and children with them. Chicken shit.

  6. The church didn’t own the massacre until 100 plus years later until all journals witnesses and proof were dead secured and obliterated that’s how the church rolls….. former Mormon who came to Jesus

  7. I dont understand why we have dont understand that each religion is man made,.that is why there is racism, slavery, torture, and dehumanizing. If god is good, there would be no division, all humans equal. Its man kind that can be evil. I see it at work, the nature of humans trying to outdo eachother. Instead of bringing joy and laughter.

  8. Use your common sense!! How many religions and beliefs exist? Its all made up by man or woman! All of it creates war. So stupid to believe in any one. Just follow your heart, be the best person you can be.😊

  9. Brigham Young was a very disturbed individual. This guy is both skimming and glossing over the real history here. If you'd rather it be delivered in podcast form, I'd recommend The Last Podcast on the Left's multi-part series on the history of the Mormon Church. There is some truly shocking, often sickening stuff in there.

  10. President Van Buren, turned to complete eye to the Missouri extermination, even when Joseph Smith pleaded with him him for help; but he told Joseph Smith” I cannot help you I will lose the votes of Missouri.”
President Buchanan was just as bad.
Salt Lake City, being a crucial halfway point in the middle of the desert to California, led to the latter-day Saints saving the lives of 10,000 of immigrants going to California, who came in to the Salt Lake, Valley, ragged and barely alive and we helped and nurse back to health by the sacrifice and charity of Saints… but of course, none of this was good enough for the prideful, arrogant politicians and judicial appointee that were sent to the valley… they hated that there weren’t saloons and brothels, and that the latter-day Saints live their religion… it caused them to have jealousy and vindictiveness… so they whispered lies in President Buchanan‘s ears and arranged for an army to March on the valley with, complete secrecy, bigotry, and vindictiveness, no orders no accountability and hoping that their iron fisted subjugation would just be lost in the annals of history

  11. No sir it was mormon militia disguised as native americans. It was supposed to look like the indians did it. Also mormons wouldn't of been eliminated completely, the knowledge would of survived and a slow comeback would happen. Just like all those other groups who tried to get their freedom and religion started and got martyred for it like the cathars. Asatru just got confirmed as a official religion here in america recognized by the govt. It was previously not even recognized as a religion here and thats crazy cus you have freedom of religion. This was recent you can look it up.

  12. You should also look into the Timponogo indian massacre. How they drove them out of Utah, massacred the men, decapitated them, then put their heads on spikes as a warning around Utah fort. They also sold the children and women to members as slaves. Brigham Young gave the extermination order, so when you wonder if he orchestrated the Mountain Meadow Massacre… not saying he did it, but I do think he was capable of it. I live in Cedar City by the way, home of the mountain meadow killers. 🤣There is a memorial, but the church never apologized for it.

  13. Exmo here, Joseph smith didn’t rewrite the Bible, he wrote past lost scripture that was an addition to the Bible. I do think that it matters to point out that Mormons are in their own eyes, Christian’s with some modifications.

  14. Ex mormon here, been shot 4 times in the chest by SWAT. 556 Nato. Rifle rounds, 8 transfusions later and helicopter ride. You got nothing on my gangster. Mr. Jesus Christ! ❤ ✝️ NDE Jesus saves

  15. Mormons did what the European Jews did they murdered the indigenous people and took their land. White people are funny AF when they tell their version of history

  16. In Zane Gray's classic western novels, the Mormons are often the major villains. When I read Riders Of The Purple Sage (written in 1912) for the first time it was the same week some Mormon missionaries came to my door. It was kind of surreal. I guess in Zane Gray's time the Mormons were involved in some shady business and were taking control of Utah.
