  1. I know I’m a year late, but you’re so, so blessed to be a relentless optimist. I would pay anything to have that ability. I’m trying to learn, slowly, and while I slide back into pessimism and depression, I’m getting better at finding the good things in life, because they’re there if you look for them and know how to look. Keep it up!

  2. As someone who's dove headfirst into Drakenier's unhinged lore, god is absolutely not dead in the Nier Automata universe, gods are actual characters and they're the reason why Drakengard and Nier's worlds are so miserable lol

  3. The suicide ending in cyberpunk also acts as a not so subtle anti suicide message.

I mean judys pure sadness hit me hard, along with Panams anger towards you, river wards acceptance but still trying to make sense of your decision.

  4. Cyberpunk to me is a game about is about trying to find reasoning and legacy.

Is about not what your leaving behind when you die, but how you'll be remembered, if you'll be remembered at all.

Will you be remembered as a person who cared in your early years or will you be remembered for the cynical, pessimistic person in your later life.

While I want to remembered for all the good shit I DID, i know ill be remembersed for who I was and my words instead of my actions.

    Money is materialistic.

    Power manipulates oneself.

    And materialistic items are pointless

  5. You are my favorite gaming youtuber out there, every single one of your videos is amazing and you bring something really special and unique to the table. Keep up the good work!

  6. I would also throw in Silent Hill 2 – what would you do for your loved ones? Could you kill them? What if they wanted you to? What if they were terminally ill, would you stay by their side or end their suffering? What would your motive be for these actions? Could you move on with your life bearing the guilt of your actions? What would it take for you to forgive yourself?

Not the most profound question at its face because if we're being idealistic we would answer with "we would do everything we can to help them". But the more we age, the longer we live, the deeper our understanding of ourselves grows, yet at the same time, things just become more complicated. The more we know ourselves, the more themes like these resonate with us because the more we start to question whether we could truly act in the "ideal" way that we envision ourselves to. Because the more we understand that our thoughts, our philosophies and ideologies are dynamic, and how they can change so quickly.

All of a sudden, a seemingly simple question becomes far more complicated.

  7. This is fantastic. If you hadn't included Planescape:Torment, there would've been trouble. But several of the other games I never played and probably never will, and it was great to get this insight into them, especially since the idea of a central question in a story is something I've been investigating myself, lately.

  8. Love your Videos❤ My most Loved Song from Nier is "Fortress of Lies". This Song helping me fall asleep for over 3 years now. Discoverd the Game in the Xbox Gamepass. For me it is in my top 5 Games of all time Story wise.

  9. Im a Christian
For the last question i disagree God is not everything he made everything yes and all was perfect but Humans disobeyed God leaded by Satan so the World became corrupted. All the Evil come from the Heart of the Man because when a man is Good you will see by his works when a man is evil you will see how much evil he is.
Only Jesus Christ can save us because he died of the cross for our sins and rose the third day. When someone believe in him Jesus send the Holy Spirit to the believer the believe will begin to change.

  10. What I love about cyberpunk is it's not one sided saying "chasing your dreams is bad or good" it says it can be or not depending who you are. And that new cured V ending is a great addon to give us the option like we would in real life to choose the simpler smaller but happy life. For myself i deeply related to that

  11. Spoilers.

The suicide ending is what made cemented this game as something special to me. It's a beautiful masterpiece about the human spirit and the connections we make along the way and like you said, about how much we can affect the people around us and the people who care about us.

  12. Horizon ZD's question of whether to leave the next generation with all the knowledge we've accrued over time-countless tomes and relics and records of events both victorious and atrocious, or to destroy it in the hopes they don't learn from our worst examples of conflict, problem solving and inherently dangerous innovation only to (potentially) repeat it is the one that both sticks with me and genuinely conflicts me. Absolutely profound if not new, but awesome to see it represented in rather palatable dystopia

  13. I would add the souls games to this list. They asks questions like is it worth to keep on going no matter the cost, it is a game about overcoming obstacles and it explores that through gameplay and story.

  14. You can only fully understand CP77, if you do the suicide ending, it isn't the correct ending, because kill itself is totally out of character for both V and Jhonny, but is the one ending where you fully get the full picture of what CP77 is about.
The cornerstone of the game, the thing that V is really seeking can only be appreciated if you do the suicide ending, seeing Judy crying in despair, without understand why this happenned again in her life. Or Panam anger for losing a friend to suicide, she isn't just angry, but disapointed, seem all the other characters mourn V's death, it makes you understand what CP77 is about.
Yes, Night City is a big city, is the jewl of the game, yes it was quite a journey, but the true soul of CP77 are their characters.
