ending is just to messed up, just wow
I saw this in the theatre when it was first released…. OMG!!!! Excellent film. But the ending took EVERYBODY by surprise. Even Stephen King loved the ending which was not in the book.
One of my top 10 movies!!

Nothing like a Steven Spielberg movie but some of Steven Spielberg's dreams as he was a kid what song crazy crap I'm surprised he doesn't have major problems and I mean professional problems as you was growing up a boy they made for some hellacious movies I got to say another awesome job by Steven Spielberg

The only two things that I disliked about the making of this movie is the ending and I found that it was not long enough.

Just found this sleeper horror flick by Stephen King. This movie 100X's better than "The Fog"…much scarier stuff in the mist….& the acting is prime…the ending a shocker!!☆☆☆☆☆👍

tried it again, the horrible special effects (except for at the very end) and shaky/zoomy camera work, and some of the really dumb things they do/don't do, ruin this movie for me. plus, Mrs. Carmody is too over the top and inconsistent to actually work. this would've been a great hour long b&w Twilight Zone episode, though
