Last of Us Part 2 Remastered is fantastic, the No Return mode is so much fun, really enjoying it.
The graphics are quite mediocre. I'm playing the remaster on PC at maximum settings in native 4K DLAA. The game is significantly inferior to other AAA titles in terms of graphics, and isn't worth the price they're asking for.
The first game's remake has better graphics than the second game's remaster lol…
I think most of the time the blurness in motion of 30fps vs 60 is far more degrading of image quality than 1440p vs 4k

120hz mode with VRR is the biggest upgrade and future proofs the game.
Without this remaster you wouldn’t be able to play the game at locked 120fps on Ps6

I bought this as a $10 upgrade and have it downloading rn. I was worried it wasn't worth it but I wasn't aware of the unlocked fps and vrr support. I'm about to have some fun hahaha. That being said, don't pay full price for this yall
This is not a remaster, just a boring port.
The subtle differences make it look like the company is selling the same game after 4 years. I ordered the original ps4 version for much cheaper and as the narrator said it's already been enhanced for ps5

A remaster after 3 years is ridiculous, because graphics don't make a good game. Outlast could do with a remaster or remake, and I definitely didn't enjoy that game for the graphics

Ridiculous it should’ve been a patch all they did was add a game mode and some outfits for the characters
I think removing the bokeh is actually a bad thing, and that some games look better at 30 fps. I am all for high frame rates and sharp distant details for those who prioritize it above all else, but many of us play more for an interactive movie-like experience, which doesn’t work so well with soap opera mode dialed to 11.

I find it really interesting that here DF are effectively saying "it's the same," but when they were comparing PS5 to PS5 Pro recently, they were trying to sell it as an enormous difference.
This at 119 frames looks so much better than alan wake 2 at 60 frames. I guess it helps that the game is really good and not a walking simulator.

Absolutely not. We got this unnecessary upgrade while we should have already gotten one for Arkham Knight and just cause 3.
Honestly none of this would be an issue is the upgrade was free and the physical version came with something extra like an art book or steelbook or something. As it stands if you’re playing at 60fps it quite frankly isn’t worth the $10. Id rather grab a dime or a sub from my corner store. 😂

The open world was bland, but this game has the best third person combat.
The definition of immersion. When the bullet start flying and the heat is on it hits right in the gut.
I own it on PS4 and can't wait for the PC port. I will buy day 1 just for the new survival mode.
