Honestly, if you’re a big guy doing calisthenics I’m impressed I’m 5’6 and I was 250 just reached 199 this morning hoping for 180 by new years and I can do it now but when I was 250 I couldn’t even do a push-up now I do 100 push up as a warm up
Like people are commenting here, it is true that lighter and shorter people will do better at calisthenics, on average, than taller people. Just like gymnastics- those guys are short, but all muscle and really strong especially for their weight. But as a 6'3 guy who always lifted weights, using gymnastic rings for pushups, dips etc has been one the best things I have added. Very challenging but more benefits. The harder road pays off.

Calisthenics is all about functional strength. Even if it is harder if you want to actually use your strength you should do calisthenics.
