  1. FYI, this video says it contains paid promotion because I was so excited about the skis and my improvement, I reached out to Stockli and they sent me 2 pairs of skis for making this video. I got the Montero AW (all mountain skis for women) that I wanted so badly and Jesse got new powder skis the EDGE FT.

  2. As for me it’s all about your coordination 😂abs and gluts are great but agility is much more important than you couldn’t gain with your workouts . Functional body is not about only “to be in shape” …thanks for your video, you’ve answered to all my questions. Ancle mobility with stabiliti DO IMPORTANT for function glutes and healthy body

  4. Love this! Do you know of anyone who covers cross country skiing? I dream of getting in shape to be able to enjoy the leisurely exercise of cross country skiing.

  5. I want to send a HUGE THANK YOU to both you and Jessie for turning me on to the Stökli line of skis. Your stories so resonated with me, that the very next day after watching your video, I returned my relatively new K2 Mindbender skis—only six skiing days—for a full refund, researched and bought a pair of Stökli Montero AX skis on a 40% off, end of season sale (@ Sports Basement for “Basementeer” members. Two days later, I drove to Sugar Bowl ski area to test them out on well groomed intermediate runs under a mix of spring skiing slush in sun and very hard pack in shade. Like Zuzka, I never would have believed what a huge difference the “right skis” could make. They were every bit as good as Zuzka said they would be!

Here’s the back story: I started skiing as a high school freshman and skied off and on for ~30 years. over time, I could ski at a high intermediate to low advanced level, depending on the steepness and snow conditions. About ~18 years ago, I stopped skiing, because it became just stupidly expensive and over-crowded. My wife & I switched to backcountry skiing on X-country skis with skins, and later snowshoeing with MSR snowshoes. This past season, my granddaughter wanted to learn to ski with her dad and her grandpa (that would be me). So, at age 76, I decided to get back into skiing. I was hoping that it would be like hopping back onto a bicycle—once you learn how, it is easy to just hop on and ride). Oh my, was I wrong. Skiing is so much more complicated than riding a bicycle… To be continued below:

  6. It is great to see Jessie in videos! He is cute and funny and seeing your dogs in videos is amazing too! Please more youtube videos like this…and if maybe you can do what you eat in a day videos as well sometimes, that would be great 😊🙏🏽🙏🏽
