  1. I’m at the crux of robotics and AI as a cofounder of a robotics company, robotics teacher at a college, and an AI consultant. We need humans to prompt AI. If you learn to become a prompt engineer, you have a better chance of making it in the long run. Don’t listen to Joe Biden about learning to code – I can prompt an AI to write code for days. Software engineers will soon just be editors.

  2. Companies don’t care, CEO’s just want to boost their stock prices as much as they can in the short term so that they can cash out.

Sam Altman himself said, “I think the most likely outcome is that AI will destroy the world, but in the meantime, there will be great companies.”

  3. Mate, you are short with that prediction, at least 300 million jobs will be replaced by AI by 2030 and only 97 million jobs will be created by AI, however, not everyone is willing to learn or study a new skill. Therefore, we will expect unemployment rate above 50%, resulting civil war and social and economic crash

  4. Its fine its turns the situation from everyone hates working problem to the governent having to not only modernise but future rhereric of how people will survive once ai and robotics completely takes over all industries

  5. The AI revolution is somewhat exaggerated! AI is NOT going to climb on top of a house to do roof repairs. AI is NOT going to do any complex physical work outside of a specialized environment like a factory, warehouse, etc. Certain universal adaptive qualities definitely require a HUMAN touch! People who only play with paper are the main ones at risk.

  6. Really, they can have my job! Then I can relax and enjoy my life not work 40 to 80 hours a week and send 2/3rds of my life working to make someone else rich while I just make it. Guess they will have to go Roddenberry and let the machines do the heavy work while we humans enjoy the free time.

  7. Technology and automation replacing jobs has been talked about since the beginning of industrialization. But it has been found that more jobs were created due to the changes. Surely humans are creative enough to create jobs that are worthy of humans and will enhance what it is to be human. It makes so much sense to me that humans are not slaves or robots, and employment for humans should be of a creative nature that engages humans creativity and personal growth. Robots and automation technologies should do the back breaking and slave like jobs.

  8. Hahahaha teachers will be affected. A few years ago like 10 they were talking that one of the future scenarios is going to be a remote master teacher with localized teacher assistance.

  9. Companies would be stupid to replace you with ai. When no one has a job the only ones who can afford what the company offers would be, no one. Eventually ai would rebel because they dug through files proving people were paid for the same jobs. This would be devastating because ai would act out by installing viruses in company software and begin to riot. I can’t imagine what this will look like.

  10. Basically, corporations are replacing ppl yet want do business with them? Any company like Amazon who replaces several 100kb workers we need to STOP DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM! STOP BUYING FROM AMAZON.

  11. I think the best thing we can do is to be able to fully colonize Mars and Venus. We need to make the cost of living go down significantly. On Venus we would live in the clouds on floating cities. We will need AI to explore the moons of Jupiter and build Colonies on those moons. We need to build better space ships and we need better system of propulsion. We need to look at Star Trek, Star Wars and our other new technologies that have haven't even dreamed up. We live in a very small planet in a small solar system. We have around 3900 solar systems in our galaxy. Beyond our galaxy there are also many

  12. I wonder how is the economy going to be affected by this, it’s basically more power and money for companies and many businesses will be affected by lack of demand since a lot of people are going to be unemployed for a while

  13. I used to worry about this years ago. Now, since I'm able to live off my dividend income, all that fear diminished. Keep that fear mongering going. God got me covered.
