Hi Aaliyah, I saw him live in nov, 2019: (I'm german) I would assume "charismatic" is a great word to describe him. And: what is music supposed to be? To bring joy to others, in my book.
He does that! If you get a chance to watch him on stage: go run for it! It was amazing!

Devin is an amazing singer. He is top tier.
But to me what really set him out is his attitude to music.
He have fun, he loves it. He plays with it.
Its about enjoying it. Also why he stepped away from big music companies and did his own things. He did not want to make the same stuff over and over.
He wanted to make his music, his way. Have fun. Enjoy the music.

There is a live official video for this song, with his full band, that is so much better than this and it has Anneke van Giersbergen on backing vocals and she is amazing. You should definitely check it out.
