Ive eaten bugs that are veggie-goers. Tastes like mushy grass. I could eat grub if I was hungry enough and would also prefer crickets which I think taste great in a cheese sauce. xD

Disagree on the "all water are(sic) drinkable" point, there are things that can contaminate water that aren't bacteria or viruses and aren't affected by cooking the water. For example naturally occurring arsenic can be in water and boiling it won't do anything but make it more consentrated.

Absurd. No real survivalist would ever be "lost in the wilderness" without a knife, matches or flint, compass or GPS, etc. Making a knife out of stones is silly.
