  1. dunno if youll see this question, but for feet position at 1:03, doesnt it give you improved mobility when shuffling laterally if youre acting purely defensively? so hypothetically you throw and then are backing off and if they attack, you can cut left or right easier. you wont be able to counter or attack off it, but in the context of just moving evasively (probably later in fight) is this still bad?

  2. someone please answer this . @3:18 he talks about landing on balls of your feet rather than heels. is it better to just stay on the balls of your feet(toes) the whole time in the ring to avoid moving with heels ?. It sounds tiring but my trainer always tell me stay on my toes and it makes zero sense how someone can stay on there toes the whole time while fighting .

  3. I dream of one day traveling to the U.K for some premium boxing training, hopefully by a coach as half as good as Tony J. From a small town American boy, You inspire me to be even more hungry EVERY day I wake up, Tony!

  4. QQ: on the line between feet part. I am told by my coach to stand side on, hiding my belly button. How would I do this if my back foot is slightly to the right?

  5. Holy SHIT I just tried to throw some jabs with your footwork tips and by GOD it feels like I can jab heavier. AND THIS IS JUST SHADOWBOXING IN MY ROOM. BRUH YOU'RE ACTUALLY A DUB FOR THIS.

I'm thinking bout going into boxing 1. for defense purposes and 2. because I like it and honestly you've definitely helped me more than most. You may never see this, but I'm hoping I can actually learn your stuff better.

  7. I am not so sure about the second one, Canelo was a beast and fought with a bladed stance, and his shoulders square. It gave him a lot of torque and hip rotation on his lead hooks. Also helped with getting out of range and in range.

  8. I don't understand English, I hope you implement more often the audio track so I can train with your videos, excellent video I subscribe and I hope more videos have the audio track in Spanish.

  9. This is stupid, there is so much detail to good footwork and yet nobody teaches it like you, focusing on the important things, why am i even paying for boxing classes (maybe to test what i have learned here :D)
