How lucky am I?!?! My top 3 favourite actors of all time are in this film. Incredible acting, a fantastic, realistic story, and wow… mind blowing special effects. I love this motion picture. Much better than the Godfather.

Call me a pedant but all scenes supposedly shot around Stonehenge and in the UK rendered nonsense….. All military cars were left hand drive and driving on the wrong side of the road…. And no chance would they have Hummers. Command would never have been surrendered to a US general on UK sovereign soil. Good yarn nonetheless…..

Fun fact (only took 2 seconds of googling) for every 328' below ground you go, the temperature increases by 5.4 degrees F. Therefore at 10,000' the temperature would be ~165F hotter than the surface. I'm only 1:30 in the film and the card saying they are 10,000 feet down really ruined it for me.
